The only thing that bothers me about their rapid success is that it may have come to fast, particularly if they do go on to win the Grey Cup. Are Ottawa fans going to get spoiled? They'll hang their hats on this success and the rest of it doesn't matter any more. I hope their passion runs deeper than that. I can't help but to think of something I heard Maple Leaf fan say on the radio onetime that all the Leafs had to do was win one cup and he could live on that and not care what happens to the team afterwards. I wonder how wide spread a feeling that is?
Anyways it will be an Ottawa-Calgary Grey Cup. That two week lay off is going to hurt Edmonton but only if the Stamps can get off to a quick start.
