The Bombers put up a better fight than I expected but they don't have much of an offence and something is off with the Lions.
Lions were the better team, but that 15-yard penalty against #44 on Winnipeg in the first half (which led to BC's first TD) was just horrible.
The Bombers are hoping that they have a QB who can "manage the game" for them. That is the kiss of death in this league. Managing the game = we know our QB isn't good enough to win games so we just hope that he doesn't screw up too badly so that we have a chance. We saw it in Toronto for several years with the likes of Michael Bishop and Cody Pickett and it isn't fun.
Bombers did ok in a place that's become a road team's graveyard. I expect them to win their first homer against hammy.
