I don't think Brescacin will ever be a major receiving factor in this league. Whether it's because of the injuries or some other reason, I don't know. I personally expected way more from him. Maybe it was an unrealistic expectation

Before departing the game with a Lower Body Injury, Rider QB Mason Fine went 5/9 for 20 yards…2.2 yards per attempt. Haven’t seen QB stats like that since the spring.
Kosi Onyka received one of the game balls for his ST work in the Riders win over BC.

Unsurprisingly, Craig Dickenson has been fired after seven losses in a row for the second year in a row at the end of the season but GM Jeremy O'Day was renewed .
Below are the Rider nominees for the CFL awards.

The Riders take OL Kyle Hergel from Boston College as their first overall draft pick but he signed with the New Orlean Saints for $20,000 guaranteed and may not be available for a while.
Riders go local with their second pick, Oregon U and Saskatchewan U LB Nick Wiebe, with the potential to be a starting LB in time.
Who’s cutting onions, Trevor Harris and AJ Ouellette are now besties!

Well, it looks like the Saskatchewan Roughriders have once again won the Grey Cup in May. I for one can’t wait for them to disappoint their hillbilly faithful again.
Maybe; but if new HC Mace & OC Mueller have some nice coaching smarts, I could see them challenging for first in the West; Harris as a vet QB and the addition of AJO is a good duo to build an offence, but again, it's IMO so much about coaching smarts - play-book & calling, adjustments, diversity, game plans, along with roster selection.
BC need the good VA to show-up game in and game out, and he has not been able to do that for a full season; they also lost their best D player in Betts.
The Bombers are going to fade IMO (and i was wrong saying that about the Stamps for years); older roster and some losses of several starters.
Alberta should see the battle for the basement. Dickenson & Jonestown just do not have it as smart CFL HCs IMO, and not even close to.
