Jacob Ruby released by Alouettes.........

I hope Popp signs him, lots of potential there IMO.

Seems like he wasn't willing to go on the PR, so they released him. That's a pretty rapid fall for a guy they were hoping would be the next Josh Bourke.

Can he play another position? Because I don't think he'll ever be a starting left tackle.

Guess not all first round picks pan out. Is he really only good enough for the PR or is Reed trying to get rid of Popp's "mess"?

Has anyone picked him up yet ?
If not, I'm a bit surprised. While I think he did struggle at LT, I still think he has a lot of promise, and could potentially play on the inside.

I believe he still available. I agree with you, good young player with a lot of potential. Teams are always on the lookout for young Canadian O linemen.
