I've heard the season ticket numbers are around 2,500, so that means 7,500 distributed to ST holders IF they ALL took advantage of the offer.
I still think you'll see about 15-18k in the house. What they announce is anyone's guess.
Awesome, thanks for sharing that.
Is that 2500 number before or after the BMO Field announcement? There was a Tweet that said that the phones in the Argonauts Ticket Office were ringing off the hook after the announcement.
I've heard radio advertisements and seen newspaper advertisements too.
Nothing else matters. There is finally a game to go to.
Been watching too much TV lately instead of sitting in the stands (any stands).
Can't wait to get my football eyes back in focus.
If any of you ST holders wish to disperse of a pair of your bonus tickets, for a fair and reasonable price, or for free if you would rather not see them go to waste, please PM me.
As for 1aroholic, this is an Argos forum, and if he wishes to gripe about other teams in relation to how Argo fans have been treated, then go man go. We've been dumped on, and have said little. Its not like he's going on a Jays forum and saying the same thing. I myself support all Toronto teams, to some degree, but I get it when someone like 1aroholic gets pissed off with other teams, when the Argos get either dumped on, or ignored most of the time.
As Argonaut fans, we all have a chip on our shoulder. Dumping on Toronto's other teams has no positive outcome and increases the animosity shown to us. I know our struggles, but acting like a small band of punks, only ensures we stay that way.
I have my own reasons for not liking any Toronto teams other than the Argos and Leafs. The success of the Jays started the "world class city" thing that had people look down on the CFL. The addition of the Raptors made it even worse. Since the Argos and Leafs successfully co-existed for many years prior to this, I hold no animosity towards the Leafs.
Childish? Perhaps, but it is how I feel.
I don't recall Rogers being this aggressive before the trade deadline like this year bringing in Price and Tulowitzki. The conspiracy theorist in me is saying part of the reason Rogers is aggressive to win is to build the momentum to keep the Argos squashed down. But that's just paranoid conjecture on my part.
Rider depth chart is out. Have a field day against that same, shitty defence.
I haven't seen a depth chart yet, but Spencer has indeed been taken off the PR (and added to the roster). Keeping has been 6-gamed, which doesn't necessarily mean anything but does suggest that his injury is non-trivial...
No NATs were taken off the PR, so either Gabriel or Black must be coming off the IR.

Yeah, looks like I was wrong. Black and Gabriel are still out, and Adjei gets his chance to shine. I wonder if Campbell will actually start tomorrow.
