I don't think so. Just speculation by 3Down...website still has him listed as DC and Assistant HC for what that is worth.
I'd expect a Coaching Staff announcement pretty soon. I think they are probably just getting it settled. 3DN, to my recollection, mentioned that Chamblin "May not" or "was unlikely" to return. I can't recall which one. I expect we should find out soon however.
So we've lost 3 Coaches as of late, Steve Walsh to the Roughriders, Brady to the Colts, and supposedly Chamblin. Only one even remotely concerning would be losing Chamblin, as I don't see any DC's out there right now (Tim Burke being a bit of an exception).
Sounds like Chamblin took a leave of absence to deal with personal issues but we're in the offseason anyways. Nothing has been announced officially.
Agreed. I'm guessing that the Argos have a contingency plan in place already and are willing to wait until the last possible minute before acting on that plan.Quote:

Report said he's spending time being at home after the loss of his father, but never really mentioned that he did officially resign. Just said that he may not return and is looking to work closer to home. I just never interpreted that as he has resigned but is just taking some time away.Quote:

Last year until the Argo job came up Chamblin couldn't find a job in Football and seemed very happy to be the Argo DC. Did a great job IMO so something must have changed if he is indeed leaving.
