2017 was a truly special year to be an Argos fan, I really don't want it to end. Here are my top 17 moments of 2017 in chronological order.

1. Hiring of Trestman and Popp
2. Trade for SJ Green
3. Seeing the helmet redesign with the blue stripe and larger sticker (just another positive sign of things going in the right direction)
4. Signing Marcus Ball (filling the void of Venerable's retirement)
5. Signing Bear Woods
6. Season Opener domination of Ticats
7. Obliteration of Montreal after losing the week before and the return of Ricky Ray from a thankfully short injury absence
8. Break out game for James Wilder Jr. against Edmonton
9. Beating Hamilton in OT
10. Signing Mitchell White (bringing championship composure to the secondary)
11. The kick out win against Winnipeg
12. Dominating the Lions on the road to secure first place
13. Ricky Ray’s final drive in the East Final with Wilder’s clutch catch on third down
14. Posey’s 100 run for a TD in Grey Cup
15. Cassius Vaughn’s fumble return for TD
16. Ricky Ray’s final drive for the game winning field goal
17. Matt Black’s redemption story (from Argo cast off in mid-season to Argo hero on the final play!)

I’ve said many times Hogie comes across as a humble everyday joe who is grateful to be part of the Argonauts experience, a really likeable guy!
Especially like his Marcus Ball on field story following the Grey Cup game, Trestman and Popp have really built a family atmosphere which should bode well for players wanting to join the ride in the near future.

Also, based upon the game telecast, I'd like to commend Lirim Hajrullahu for his high standard of play in the Grey Cup.

I predict in 2018 that under MLSE ownership, a return to full retirement audio broadcasts at home and away.
