Do the Lions have a shot?
IF BC can't limit Oliveira greatly, Bummers will win easily IMO.
Or, if the best VA shows up and is on fire passing to that outstanding receiving corps AND runs plenty (as AV notes above - makes him a real dangerous dual threat). BC could win a shoot-out ?
Yes I give BC a shot. Bombers have shown signs of weakness at various points this year.
BC also laid a few eggs this year, like here at BMO with the multiple pick-offs, and losing at home to Hamilton, but a 12-win team must be Legit.
I like + respect O'Shea as a HC in a big game, he's a very smart decision-maker if it comes down to a nail-biter finish.
And if (heaven forbid) a starting QB is hurt, I like the Bomber backup more than the Lions backup.
For the sake of a good Grey Cup matchup, do CFL fans want a rematch from last year or some new blood with BC?
I want the Bombers. Some people consider that the Argos got lucky last year. Last minute FG block, Collaros played injured, etc...The real heavyweight match-up between Bombers-Argos did not happen in September this year. Bombers had the more difficult schedule. They have been the best team by record the last 3-4 seasons and the model league franchise.
The Argos need to face and beat them again this year in the GC to take their place as the league's model franchise, and become a dynasty in the making.
