While three Argos (Green, McEwen and Van Zeyl) made the CFL All-Star team, only one other Eastern player (Ellingson) made the team. Furthermore, the West totally dominated selections with 23 out of 27 selections. One can argue that a few other Eastern players could have been selected, but the team reflects the overwhelming talent between the East and West.
