Exactly....which is why I added the ? in my post.
CFL.ca transactions show that the Argos released DE Thomas Costigan yesterday (?) and Canadian LB Daniel Kwamou was added to the roster then deleted?
I wasn't suggesting Amos replace either player, but it would be nice to keep the Defensive Backfield intact as much as possible.
Did Dinwiddie only receive his raise after Mace left for Saskatchewan?
I think it was brought up earlier that Mace was given an extension that would presumably given him huge wage increase. I doubt hiring Co Coordinators would be more expensive than Mace's extension.
The fact Eiben will also be coaching the LBs and Fields will also be coaching the Secondary (not to be confused that Myron Lewis is coaching the DBs), it just seems like the defensive coaching staff...
Anyone know how Amos is doing after suffering serious leg injury from last year? It would be great to have a high calibre veteran like him in the secondary with the departure of Stiggers to the NFL...
Has the team hired a new strength and conditioning coach for the 2024 season?
Can you hear can you hear the thunder? You better run you better take cover..
Looks like Bryan Scott is the developmental QB. I see Casey Bauman signed as an UDFA with the NFLs LA Chargers. Not sure if there is a draft eligible QB that can help.
Yesterday the team signed DE John Daka who toiled last year in the XFL with Houston, playing 10 games and registering 4.5 sacks. Daka, who is 26 years of age is expected to attend TC in Guelph.
Next man up for the Argos. I have complete faith the Front Office will find an excellent replacement for the departed Stiggers.
Post of the year right there folks! Well put Sir!
What's interesting about DuBlanko is, and for some reason all media has avoided this, is he actually started his pro career with San Antonio XFL 2.0, was named starting MLB as well as a Team Captain...
No big loss with the retirement of Arcega-Whiteside. Philadelphia was really critisized for using a high draft pick on him and his NFL production (or lack of) proved those right. The team also signed...
Week 4 of the UFL commences tomorrow with 3 games. The game of interest for CFL fans is San Antonio Brahama Bulls vs the Michigan Panthers. The Brahama Bulls new starting QB is Quinton Dormady who...
3 Down Nation staff reports that former CFL WR Stephen Dunbar has been waived by the Houston Rough Necks (Pittsburgh Maulers really) after recording 1 reception for 19 yards while appearing in just 1...
Die hard fans are saying now that attendance doesn't matter and the only thing that matters is tv ratings.
The UFL concluded week 3 of action this afternoon. A game of interest for Argo fans took place in Detroit Michigan. Argo Neg List QB Nolan Henderson, who is #2 on the Houston (Pitsburgh really) depth...
Week 3 of the UFL resumed play this afternoon with 4 games on tap this weekend.
De La Haye posted on social media that he sustained a fractured neck on the play and is out for the season.
The San Antonio Brahma Bulls have announced that the team has placed PK Donald De La Haye on IR. Presumably he was hurt after whiffing on a tackle attempt vs the Memphis Showboats during Saturdays...
Yes, its Raquet, thanks OV. I still expect a neg list QB or 2 to sign after the NFL draft and when NFL rookie mini camps are completed.
The Argos have announced the signing of American QB Hunter Paquet. He last played for Colorado Pueblo (same school as Edmonton Global PK Dean Faithful).
Paquet is expected to attend TC in Guelph.
Week 2 of the Inaugural UFL season continues this weekend with 4 games scheduled.
