Congrats, wishing him well in the NFL.
So true Angelo!!
I have no issue deferring to the likes of Ben Grant and Marshall Ferguson as I don’t really follow college football very closely.
Grant makes a tangible argument for the Argos to select a LB, I trust the Argos brain trust will make a good selection with this pick considering their recent draft success.
Dublanko was the LB mentioned who could step in and possibly start between McManis and Jones.
He may not be available when they pick.
I like Ben Grant, very knowledgeable guy who thinks the Argonauts should look at LB with their first round pick.
There certainly has been some questionable CFL ownership over the years for sure OV.
Ballard was a total imbecile who dragged the Maple Leaf franchise through the mud.
Argos would be the fools in that transaction.
Shame he didn’t play his entire career with the Argos.
I take issue with the assertion that Van Zeyl played his best football with the Tiger Cats.
...
Summed up quite nicely ArgoZ, let’s see how this plays out.
Or maybe no one has a clue what actually happened or didn’t happen (including yourself) and should let things play out before coming to any conclusions!!
Wouldn’t be my choice to have Co DC’s but let’s see how it works out.
Can’t argue with any of this OV.
Even amongst CFL fans many hate the Argonauts, to them I say go f*ck yourselves.
Proud to be a fan of this team!
That’s what I’m thinking as well Angelo.
Never said it was that simple, I’m not convinced the ops cap is at play here.
Wouldn’t be surprised if another coach is added on the defensive side.
That’s how I see it as well.
How close to the football operations cap are they considering they have lost Alex Russell, Edwin Harrison, Josh Bell and Corey Mace?
They won’t stand in his way.
Quantez Stiggers looks to have a bright future down south.
I wish him all the best of luck!!

You’re way too kind gil.
I have no issues with the personnel assembled on D, they knew they couldn’t keep all the eligible free agents in double blue.
They sure did a nice job in keeping as many players as possible and...
I agree with all of this.
The D will have several newcomers so going with a skeleton staff on that side of the ball is a dumb strategy.
Surely the will add a couple of coaches on D?
Just when it...
I agree with this OV, would be nice to add some additional talent and depth at this position.
It seems they weren’t sold on either Fields or Eiben as the DC.
This is a rather strange strategy especially considering a good chunk of the 2024 D will be new to the Argonauts.
I wouldn’t be...
