Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but it just got a lot tougher to try and get a stadium built in Halifax. Governments the world over will be taken to task for helping fund sports stadiums.

That was it. Tough to start an American Safety in those days. McEachern was a non-import I believe.
Sad state of affairs when the only people in Toronto who even remember what a great player he was are on this message board, and a few sports media types. I remember TTC streetcars with BIG ZAC...
Is it just me, or would anyone else like to see the Argos tarp off the upper East side stands. I hate looking at that wall of Red. They used to have some awesome tarps at the Rogers Centre of Argo...
I don't know where they are finding the money to sign all these guys, but I love it.
I don't know who does up the depth charts for the Argos but they got a lot of the names and positions wrong. It has dbs playing offensive line, players from wrong schools etc.
Looking forward to tailgating on Saturday, have not done it in 2 years. Always impressed with the Hamilton fans that come out. It will be interesting how things unfold with the new legislation and...
edmontons end zones have been fixed for a few years now
Has this happened yet? The fieldturf endzones that is.
current CEO at Rogers is former head at Telus, who had a good relationship with the CFL. Might have had something to do with it.
Just find a way to fill up the lower east side, it looks so bad on tv. That is my only complaint I have with management. If they want people to come, it has to look better than rows of empty seats....
It will be the same old problem with Halifax, no stadium. You are still looking at 10-15 years before it might happen. Any talk of a major stadium gets shot down quick by the NIMBY's
Interesting article on CNN yesterday talking about Colin and saying that top end CFL'ers are better than mid level Nfl players. People wont like to hear that. lol
As a season ticket holder and a Argo fan, I do not have a problem with the guy sitting next to me paying less than I did. Its likey to only time that person will go to a game, and if they like it...
That would be great, but I will believe it when I see it.
How many passes have we dropped in the endzone this year? not just tonight, but in 4 games...at least 5 by my count. It was same thing last year.
Scott Mitchell would be ideal in my opinion. He is no nonsense and is already well versed in what is going on and where it needs to go. He might have some enemies on the board, however I see him as...
The Stallions were NOT the best team in CFL history!!! The Argo teams that Don coached were flat out better. It all comes down to Flutie vs. Ham...nuf said
What the hell??, I thought when they moved to Downsview the problem was solved. Now its not working???
Duanne Forde, anything to get him off the T.V. broadcast.
Those seats are being reserved for group sales this year I believe.
I like the schedule, but yes that Monday game is baffling. I really wonder sometimes, like do they really think they will get any walk-up crowd to that game?
Some players were saying it was slippery during the grey cup game. I have also seen it up close when you stand behind the north end zone. Maybe it is the newer type of turf, just matted down from...
I was surprised to learn the end zones are the old style artificial turf and not the Field Turf. Is it because the newer stuff would get matted down too much when covered up?? I would like to...
I will be getting a flex pack next season. I had full season tickets last year but could only make it to few games due to the schedule.
