I liked Gaudaur but I have been saying for over 30 years that he knew when to get out and got out at the right time. I can't imagine that he didn't know that there would be some rough waters ahead...
I am not sure that this is as big of a problem anymore. Other than David Braley, I would argue that most of the BOG are rather progressive individuals these days.
You can't blame Wright for that without also blaming Pelley who took the lead in those negotiations. I have no interest in seeing either of those gentlemen return to the league as Wright fiddled...
