MWFL
Moncton 21 vs Fredericton 6
Saint John 29 vs Halifax 7
I've been seeing this a lot on FB the past week or so--some sort of new football curriculum for Saskatchewan high schools. I wonder how well it'll do.
...
Thank you.
I had read the 3DN story but not the Huskies one.
Always interesting to see how the CFL qb interns put it together on field.
I'll keep my eye on Stoikos too. Impressive numbers.
I missed it, seeing as it took place in the middle of the night for me.
Anyone stand out for those who watched?
I'd like to know the exact nature of the threats he allegedly made. If he really threatened violence against an Argo employee, I'd lean toward cutting ties completely.
I agree. Go with Dukes and Scott . . . and the best of any other arms brought into camp. But also keep an eye on other teams' TC rosters and cuts, and listen to any offers. There's no guarantee that...
CEGEP school wins the women’s collegiate flag championship. We should be seeing much growth in flag over the coming years as it'll be in the Olympics.

It's not going to get the hype that women's hockey is getting, but let's shine a little light on our gridiron women here:
WWCFL
week 1
Calgary 26 vs Lethbridge 6
Saskatoon 19 vs Regina 6
...
A positive in recent years is that league is no longer just passively waiting for ownership to show up but is actively seeking it with the aid of specialists. So far so good with BC and Montréal....
Here's the schedule. Back up to 4 teams again.
...
Almost time for football season in Canada.
...
Interesting. I'm sure they must've at least discussed York, but their recent track record is abysmal.
This is kinda big news.
CJFL star QB signs with St. Mary's. Jessie was BC's QB intern, I believe.

Varsity Blues
Tre Ford has done all right since his internship, but yeah it's certainly not (yet) turned into a direct pipeline to CFL roster spots for top USports QBs.
I wonder if Taylor Elgersma will this year's QB intern again. Hopefully he'll open some eyes.
I wouldn't mind seeing Tyrell Pigrome in camp--short yardage guy with some upside.
Pretty exciting news. I wonder how they'll select players for the team.

OTTAWA and VANCOUVER –...
Hmm.....would a July 4th or 5th home opener be possible? Likely have to wait one more week, but we'll see.
