That's a big if Angelo, I honestly don't see these two teams consummating a trade of this magnitude.
Sit tight and let Hamilton continue to pay Collaros and see what happens in the off season.
Trading with Hamilton at this time would be doing them a big favour (who wants to do that)?
I think he would thrive with the Argos and their staff, his salary expectations would need to be somewhat tempered though.
At this point Collaros will have to be humble and work his way back to elite QB status, he is currently in no position to do otherwise.
A change of scenery and working with a coach like Trestman would work wonders for Collaros.
I also suspect Ray may pack it in after this season, wear and tear on the body starts to add up besides he...
Could be, other GM's would be well advised to sit, wait and let Hamilton continue to pay Collaros.
Trading for Collaros at this point would be doing Hamilton a huge favour IMO.
Perhaps these rumours are a true indicator of Popp and Trestman's true evaluation of the Argos young group of QB's?
Agreed, the sensible approach.
Personally I think the Argos should sit tight and let things continue to implode in Hamilton and see if Collaros eventually gets released then see what happens if they are still interested (wish...
Who knows?
My guess is Brian Jones would be one guy the Argos would offer Hamilton.
Argos should play it cool and see how long Hamilton is willing to pay Collaros his hefty salary.
Personally I...
Interesting scenario, Argos apparently interested in bringing Collaros back.
My guess is Collaros would flourish working with Trestman.
...
I don't know, will soon be 34 and has battled serious injuries in the past.
Would be a stop gap solution IMO.
Bottom line is the Argos need to find and develop the next guy (probably easier said...
Careful there OV, Labour Day game is coming up.
The Burlington skyway tends to be like Kryptonite for the Argonauts.
Amazing how high Franklin's market value is perceived to be, sure he looks like a promising young QB but hasn't had the chance to prove anything at this point.
Collaros simply isn't the same QB he...
That's a possibility in my mind as well Angelo, nothing left to prove and possibly go out on his terms.
Let's see how this chapter is written.
