I don't know how to copy and paste or what you do to get the article off slam. They've seen every NFL team in preseason and have deleloped a list of possible guys but he thinks we have the right guys now. Basically we just have to find the right combinations of these guys. YIKES!!! Some guys have a nack and some don't I guess. He has said before that they will always try to find players that are better than the ones they have. So since training camp I guess he's changed his tune. We have holes to fill and now is a good time. Sask just filled some with two good d signings in Diamond Ferri and Joe Lobendon. (butchered that spelling)

My guess would be Barker won't throw anyone under the bus and any moves made won't be made obvious by the team ahead of time (See: Boyd, Cory).

One would hope Barker knows our offensive line needs a lot of help.

I arrived in Toronto today and went to see War Horse at the PoW theatre and I saw Jim with his wife and his mom. This being Toronto I was probably the only guy who knew who he was and I'm from Montreal.

There was word that the Argos and Montreal had people at the Philly - New York Jets game on Thursday night. I wonder who they were looking at?

Barker is looking at players but he really is doing nothing different than anyone else. This isn't the 1970s or 1980s anymore where you just pick up a guy from the NFL, plop him into the lineup and hope for the best. The offensive and defensive schemes are far too complex today to be doing that. Furthermore, there is no need to do that when you have 60+ players hanging around. The two major areas of concern for the Argos are at receiver and offensive line and it isn't like they aren't doing things to try to improve those areas. They have Maurice Mann, Ken-Yon Rambo and Demario Ballard in reserve and at least one of those players will be in the lineup tomorrow along with Mike Bradwell replacing Spencer Watt. On the offensive line, they have recently plugged in Tony Washington at tackle and Joel Reinders will likely be in the lineup before long but, again, he has to learn the system first. Barker's thoughts in this regard are not strange as every other CFL team is doing the same thing.

Well I'm on Barker but I didn't expect much this year. If we can develop a team that will eventually kick butt year after year I'll be happy. Sick of Montreal!!!
