LOL, Wheaton is awesome.
Yeah well, Will Wheaton may have been cool, but he still managed to step into the wrong garden,
earlier in his youth, and almost got himself killed, and made into a Will Wheaton God.
Bloody teenagers. They appreciate the balls they've grown, eventually....
Ka' Pla !
Anyway, enough of this bullshit.
It has already been established (earlier in this thread - when no one else responded), that 1argoholic and I, are the only two members of the Q Continuum here. We are just toying with you Earthlings, though we occasionally take on a Female of your species, just to check out the present state and rate of your coupling capabilities. And unlike most of you Humans, We, are never disappointed.
Ka' Pla !
Ok, admittedly, I've given this some thought; I still don't know who Jack and Patrick are.
Of course, being members of the Q Continuum, we are not often privy to, nor interested in, the mere imaginings of Earth-bound mortals. So, I am afraid that we will reluctantly be forced to ask you to elaborate.
If you can.
Ka' Pla !
Didn't you say that DS9 was your favourite Trek?
Patrick - http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Patrick
Jack - http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Jack_(24th_century)
Ah yes, they were in two episodes, I believe.
Those guys are kinda weird though; not exactly all there mentally; way worse than 1argoholic and myself....
Perhaps we're more like Miles O'Brien and Julian Bashir (a hetero version of Bashir).
Nah ... deep inside we're Klingon Q.
Ka' Pla !
What are you talking about? Bashir had a crush on both Dax's.

True, but also on Miles O'Brien. In fact, in one of the last episodes of DS9, he told Miles that he loved Ezri (Dax) passionately, but that he loved Miles more.
Since I could never hope to match such ingenuity, I would have to play the pure hetero version of Bashir.
BTW, I think T-Bone and Seven of Nine (from ST Voyager) have a lot in common, when it comes to humour appreciation (smile).
Ka' Pla !
I think you have misinterpreted this exchange between O'Brien and Bashir from "Extreme Measures":
I agree Seven of Nine probably wouldn't find certain drunken rants funny either.Chief O'Brien: [of Keiko] She always said I... I liked you more than I liked her.
Doctor Bashir: That's ridiculous!
Chief O'Brien: Right.
Doctor Bashir: Well, maybe, maybe you do, a bit more.
Chief O'Brien: What? Are you crazy? She's my wife, I love her!
Doctor Bashir: Of course you love her - she's your wife.
Chief O'Brien: Yeah.
Doctor Bashir: I'm just saying, maybe you like me a bit more, that's all.
Chief O'Brien: I do not.
Doctor Bashir: You spend more time with me.
Chief O'Brien: We work together!
Doctor Bashir: We have more in common.
Chief O'Brien: Julian, you are beginning to annoy me.
Doctor Bashir: Darts, racquetball, Vic's lounge, the Alamo... Need I go on?
Chief O'Brien: I *love* my wife.
Doctor Bashir: And I love Ezri - passionately.
Chief O'Brien: You do?
Doctor Bashir: Yes.
Chief O'Brien: Have you told her?
Doctor Bashir: Not yet. But I will.
Chief O'Brien: Oh, yeah? Huh... When?
Doctor Bashir: When I'm ready. It's just that I... like you... a bit more. See? There, I've admitted it.
Chief O'Brien: Yeah, well - I *love* my wife.
Did you just call T-Bone a Borg, Midnight Blue?

Nah, I was just teasing. In the last month or so, on at least two or three occasions in reply to other people's posts, I remember T-Bone saying "That's not funny". Then finally someone else asked (and I paraphrase), "Who made you the arbiter of humour on this forum? This isn't a board meeting, it's an internet forum. Lighten up, dude." Which was actually quite funny.
Hence I couldn't resist the Borg quip....
Ka' Pla !

Ok look, T-Bone, I don't want to get into a Geek-Fest contest with you (which I would surely lose),
But if Bashir loves Ezri passionately, and likes Miles ... a bit more,
Then Shirley, he has laid his cards on the table, non?
Not that there's anything wrong with that....
Even the Borg Queen has (possibly) a sense of humour (since they've assimilated a variety of species).
I would suggest that you start at the top.
Ka' Pla !
(BTW, your apparent ability to summon conversational quotes from the series, is pretty geeky.
And yes, I know ... don't say it ... it's not funny.)
Cheers !

Bloody Ti-Cat fan. Eat any good books lately?
Please show me where I in the last month or so, on at least two or three occasions replied to someone's post with "That's not funny."
That is a pretty liberal paraphrasing of the original post:
I agree with Mulder that humour is subjective and that not everyone is going to find the same things funny. I've never claimed to be the "arbiter of humour" on this forum. I don't find the majority of things you post funny, but that's just my opinion. I'm sorry if that upsets you.
I agree that there is nothing wrong with someone being gay or bi-sexual. In this case, outside of this one piece of dialog which you seem to think implies that Bashir has romantic feelings towards O'Brien there is no evidence to support that theory in the rest of the series. Bashir never expresses that he has romantic feelings for O'Brien to anyone but he is pretty open about his romantic feelings towards Jadzia Dax and does end up in a relationship with Ezri Dax. Bashir was also in a relationship with Leeta. Despite what you may think two men can "like" even love each other and still be heterosexuals. At first O'Brien didn't even want to hang out with Bashir but with Keiko and Molly away from the station months at a time they ended up hanging out. Turned out O'Brien and Bashir did have a lot in common and they became close friends which is what that exchange is referencing.
Thank you, it's called "Google."
Hi, T-Bone, sorry about the late reply (just got back).
Now, I swear I had read, someone making the "arbiter of humour" comment. This is something I could not make up. Perhaps it was a second commenter/poster. And don't worry, I don't care whether you find my attempted humour funny or not. You won't hurt my feelings. I'm a cold-blooded Kozak, not to mention Conservative. I'm thick-skinned. And I swear that I had read you say (two or three times), "That's not funny.", in reply to other people's humour, nevermind my own. But the more you get serious about this, the more I will attempt to mock you. It's all in good fun.
Cheers !
Oh and by the way, even Porthos, knows what "a bit more" means....
Woof !
And,
Ka' Pla !
That's better, T-Bone !
( Keep trying ... there's hope for you yet ! )
Woof !
