I'm so excited about this weekends golf and cricket!!

Not in the bloody least!!! Turn on TSN and it's all about Americans playing that crappy boring game. Not a sport. Anything that anyone in this world can do is not a sport. Old people in wheel chairs can hit a ball with a stick.
Then I turn on Sportsnet and they're all over cricket. At least it's a sport, a long drawn out boring sport. But it does take skill unlike golf and soccer. Anyone can hit a ball with a stick or kick a ball. I guest that's what makes them so popular. Any person with zero athletic ability can still play these games.

Why is Ryder Cup golf on both TSN and TSN2 while we have to wait for the start of the Als/Ticats? Can't they put the football on one of those channels?

Thanks to Hoagie & Sandy on TSN radio for filling the gap nicely until golf FINALLY ended.....when an event like Ryder Cup or Tennis is on & can reasonably be expected to run late, TSN should simply start the CFL telecast 1/2 hour later.

I don't subscribe to TSN2 though...they didn't do that Friday night with Monteal & Hamilton, glad they did last night though.

Notice how they push it to TSN2 knowing full well many don't have it so they might feel the need to get it now. We have TSN 2 on one tv downstairs and one upstairs. However our little very important kitchen tv doesn't have 2. Thus having to get up and tend to meals and drinks was an issue yesterday. I hate missing any of the game but with start times here most games run smack into dinner time. haha. What can I say we love the CFL and to cook.
I sent an e-mail off to TSN caling them nothing ore than ESPN North at this point. I told them is was horrible that US Golf was more important than the CANADIAN Football League.

I too was disapointed and not one to fall for their tricks to subscribe to TSN2. I also question their decision to put the CFL game on TSN2. We are in Canada aren't we? The Ryder Cup is US vs Europe, very Canadian!

They don't interrupt shows in progress.

Very oddly, we don't subscribe to TSN2 either. But one of our TV's has a some sort of digital converter box in it. So it picks up TSN2 on channel 68.153 I think it is very odd.

Until recently, someone on the forum has been pretty faithful in posting TV numbers for CFL games & other sporting events...I am curious how the golf (although it was on for 10-11 hours per day) & Argos-Bombers game compared.
