However if they both progress and not regress then the Argos will have an interesting decision with this Ottawa draft if it factors into.
By the way, how about my man Swayze.
I think he is a keeper and I know you previously like my suggestion of signing him long term as a punter and FG?
Last night Hamilton tried to "Ice Waters" by calling a timeout prior to his winning FG...but to no avail....

Waters kicks seem to go all over the place and then curve in. Crazy to watch on tv but I really like Waters and having walked from BC Place back to the team hotel with him and Van Zeyl he's a super nice guy.

Some interesting personal moves I'm sure will come before next week. I agree about our new D lineman that looked good. I did see Reinders just toss a Hamilton D lineman to the turf with ease at one point.

I was thinking today about how it was so good to knock the Ticats out of playoff contention as the Argos did last night. How many times has Hamilton knocked the Argos out of playoff contention on the final weekend of the regular season? It happened in 1975, 1976, 1978, 1980, 1981 and 2001. Only in '81 did it happen in Toronto. How often has Toronto knocked the Ticats out on the final weekend of the season? Last night was the first that I can remember.
Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force

Not to be smart but to all the nay sayers about the team resting players in the best interest of the team and Argo fans, how was the crow you had served today?

We talked a lot about momentum this week and I can't think of a better way to head into the playoffs. This game should create a lot of buzz in Toronto heading into the postseason as well.

Couldn't agree more. My son and I enjoyed this more than any game in the past three seasons. Argos played with emotion and passion, which has been missing at times on home field. So much of a team's success comes down to the mental side of things, and I think the Argos have found their MOJO at the right time. Great to see history being made by Chad Owens. Maybe the uncommitted sports fans in Toronto will finally get on board. It could be a great run.

ArgoRedneck that's being a smart ass. haha. I have to admit I thought we'd get killed but I'm not affraid to admit that it was a very smart thing to do. Plus it made this one of the best Argo wins ever. Backups at every position and we knock our huge rivals right out of the playoff hunt. Oskie Hee Hee, Oskie Ha Ha hahaha!!!

Pretty much everything worked out in this game from an Argo point of view: resting/sitting out starters, playing well, entertaining the fans, winning, knocking a rival out of the playoffs, no serious injuries.

Yes, and I guess that all of us who did not envisage all of those things happening need to "eat crow." Yeesh.

You are so right Ravi..Hamilton has killed our dreams for decades, but yet, other than 1983 EF & 2004 ESF I too can not really recall a time when the Argos turned the tables on them...honestly I thought Hamilton would find a way to kill the Argos this year too.

I still have bad memories of the two game total point farces we used to have against them. They'd fly in a bunch of NFL cuts who'd play lights out.

Just saw a receiver miss a block and forgot to mention this earlier. Some of you complain about Watt's numbers but he gave a break block on the Tranks TD. i think he does a great job blocking, so does Barnes. Inman may be the weakest blocking receiver but that's just when I notice, could be wrong.

Wobbler, with the greatest respect, what the hell are you talking about?

I thought ArgoRedneck's post was extremely valid.

Furthermore, his post was directed at me and others on this forum, who thought that our back-ups might lay an egg, and ruin our chances at at least, going 9 and 9.

And finally, I got to use "at at", in the same sentence. If the real Vikings were still around, most of you would be dead. Except for us Kozaks.

    Na Zdorovlia !
