    Happy 47th Pinball

    Granted it was yesterday. Still like this thread to be dedicated to him.

    My first experience with Michael was that infamous opening kick return for a TD in the east final 1996.

    How the media laughed when he was first named HC in 2000 after the short lived 'Loonie' era. (Huard means loon in french). Took his team to the brink of playoffs in 2000 and 2001 and then 6 straight east finals and one grey cup. His last game in the 2007 EF was a sad end to a long era. I'll be wearing an argo sweatshirt at the flutie bowl next monday. rekindle old memories for doug.

    I remember talking to Pinball at practice while we did a bbq for us and the guys. He came over and sat beside me and I asked him how is it going coach. At that point he really wanted nothing to do with it but it all worked out in the end.

    just amazing that no one else could fill the spot and even in 2002 with gary etcheverry at the helm he had to come in late in the season. still waiting for the first HC to post a winning record since he left.
