I remember a few weeks back no one around the city cared or watched any argos game.

Yesterday I was rocking my Argos hat and sweater and I had many people come to me and say how they cant wait for the Greycup and how they are all hype about it...


What do members think of the people who never cared and now it's the talk of the city. All over the radio's, Tv's etc...

The same goes here, all of a sudden everyone wants tickets and is talking about the Argos again. I was at Pro Image in Upper Canada Mall yesterday and the guy told me that they sold all of their jersey and that they had to put a rush order for more. The employee at the store was so shocked.

This is funny. I was at the YMCA in Peterborough working out this AM and wearing the same hat I ware often there and no one says s#%t, but today people are talking to me about the Argos and Toronto having a winning team again.

I guess it's good but I'll admit it's a bit annoying. Its just annoying to see people care only when a team wins a championship (or has a chance). Hopefully they get hooked but when the Argos have a bad year I just don't want them to stop following the team. Toronto is a city of trends, the Argos are hot so people care but when the the hype dies down, people won't care again until we reach the GC again.

I say there is always room on the bandwagon. Everyone at my work was congratulating me on their victory knowing what a huge fan I am. There are fans out there. They just don't all go to the games.

And some of these bandwagon fans might actually become permanent fans. So I say embrace 'em all, with enthusiasm and grace.

Out here in B.C., I've heard a lot of people saying they'll be cheering for the Argos this week because they don't want to see Calgary win after beating the Lions. My relatives in Saskatchewan say that a lot of people are cheering for the Argos too mainly because they think Ricky Ray is a class act and they like Chad Owens but most importantly because they can't stand Cornish and the Stampeders. Hopefully the Argos can capitalize on the support and it helps them win!

Sure some will be bandwagon fans, and for those let them see a good time, and a good team and they will be around next season.
I think many are just coming out of the closet. Seeing that others are excited and they are not the only Argo fan ( as some media seemed to think we are a dying breed) they are coming to support the team!

on the plane in about 8 hours from now but i cant believe the support we are getting out here in winnipeg from those whom know me .bash bash bash but now they are behind our team. very nice to see.band wagon jumpers i dont care but if we can turn any fan on just for a minute they mite come back
