Argos in the grey cup, can't wait!
i think i may watch the grey cup live from my local cineplex odeon theatre!
woohoo
I'll be watching the game at a big party at my best friend's house. He's a Lions fan so here's hoping we can have a Braley Bowl party. I know there are people who complain about him, but without him there might not be a CFL.

Hats off to Jalil Carter. He did a good job of replacing Watkins and was second in tackles with five for the Argos. However, I still want Watkins for the Grey Cup if he is anywhere near 100%.
I haven't watched the Eastern Final yet, but I just watched Climie state that Calvillo had lots of time, all game long, to find receivers and deliver the football. (Apparently, the defensive backfield must have played very well.)
But this chronic lack of pressure (this game in particular, and more or less all season long, IIRC) from the D line really concerns me for the Grey Cup game.

Owens set a Toronto playoff record with his 207 yards receiving. The 207 yards was also fourth all-time in CFL playoffs. If he doesn't win MOP for the regular season, there should be a criminal investigation of what would amount to a steal.
There were plenty of plays where AC had loads of time, and there was not even a single Argo in the Als backfield. I don't think it was a matter of the Argos not being able to try to put suitable pressure, but more of dropping back into pass coverage, knowing that AC wasn't going to run, and they were right. AC didn't run all game, and the defensive back field did a damn good job of pass coverage most of the time.
