I think tickets won't be available to the public until june 2013 unless they do another reserve deposit thingy.
Grey cup 106. Newer and bluer meanies
I wouldn't even bother until the hotel room bs gets sorted out. Dash Tours has their hands all over it. I know many Grey Cup diehards who are bailing on next year. It'll be a big green incestfest. First Grey Cup we were quite a distance from downtown. Last time we were right there in the middle of downtown. I'm hoping rooms come through a club I belong to but we'll see.
im surprised at the ticket prices....thought they would be higher, since rider fans dont seem to have an issue speaning money on football....
Cfl season ticket holders can reserve tickets as of February.

I hear a tour group bought up many of the hotel rooms to sell at a premium? The likelihood of me attending the 101st is limited.
Dash Tours seems to buy up every room they can get their hands on and then resell them as packages with tickets. http://www.dashtours.com
Incidentally if you've been to a Grey Cup, you've probably seen Dave Ash, head of Dash Tours. He's quite the publicity hound with a Rider helmet, flashing light on his head. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbHH8hNc9CQ (And remember the giant Canadian flag at the 2010 Gold Medal hockey game? That was Dave.)

There is a thread over on riderfans suggesting that Dash has bought all the rooms in Regina and is charging usurious prices (like $400 a night for a cheap motel room). Some fans are saying they refuse to do it any more and will go to Vegas to watch the game instead. If it's true that this is happening, it would be poetic justice (but bad for the league, of course) if the game were boycotted by all out-of-town fans.
It's interesting that the CFL's "prime" market is the one that is least plausible for out-of-town Grey Cup guests.
Here are Dash's packages for the 101st Grey Cup - the cheapest one is for a single occupancy Silver package, $1399, includes 4 nights in a motel and an end zone black game ticket ($239, see above) plus transportation, souvenir football, etc.

Yep. The good news is that both Hamilton and Ottawa should be getting Grey Cups again soon. I am guessing that Winnipeg will get 2014, Hamilton 2015 and then Ottawa by 2017 at the latest. I seem to recall reading an article last week in which Jeff Hunt said that the end of the fourth season IIRC (2017) would be appropriate for hosting the Grey Cup for Ottawa. In that case, Montreal would be due in 2016 but would the league have three eastern Grey Cups in a row?
Chad Kelly + Dan Adeboboye + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
Why not? In 2009-2011 the game was hosted in Calgary, Edmonton and British Columbia respectively? Sure some of the western fans would flip out, but there is precedent for this before. Heck, the west hosted four games in a row from 1997 to 2000 (I consider Winnipeg the west). The last time I believe the east had something remotely like this was 1976-1982 when the game flipped between Toronto and Montreal. I feel that with the success of the 100th Grey Cup and new stadiums in Ottawa and Hamilton and Montreal being due the CFL can't ignore the east.
I heard that Ottawa wants the 2017 Grey Cup game because Canada turns 150 years old that year.
Just curious about parking at the stadium in regina?..i have a 30ft motorhome..would they let me in with it?..then obviously i would be too drunk to drive it home aftr the game...PRESTO...no need for a room
would it work?

Reserved a room at the motel 6 in Saskatoon for 2 nights and a car at the Saskatoon airport. Plane tickets should be available Monday. A five hour back and forth drive through the land of flat awaits.
