    Good luck to Leo Cahill

He has been nominated for hall of fame honours here in Ontario: http://www.torontosun.com/2012/12/12...-hall-nominees

It would be so meaningful for Leo to make it into the Ontario hall of fame now, while he still has enough health to enjoy it. He devoted many great years to Argos and Ontario ( and still lives in ON). We almost lost Leo in 2010 during heart surgery - now is the time to do it, not posthumously. Perhaps not the greatest Argo coach, but certainly the greatest Argo saleman/showman of all time.
One oar still in the water !

My fav Leo interview years ago (Not really an interview) was when Bob McCown (Good friend of Leo) on the Fan590 was talking about the 70's Argos and said that Leo was not much of a coach and the team just had talent. Leo calls in and Bob welcomes him. Leo then goes off on Bob for saying that and ends their friendship on to spot and hangs up. A stunned McCown then goes to commercial.

I would pay money to hear this.

Anyhow, according to Pre's statement he is not looking to retire. Best of luck to him, and its been a pleasure watching him play in TO for all this time.

I agree. He knew how to keep the Argos in the media and keep the fans entertained. There was never a dull moment with Leo. I too would pay money to hear the McCown interview.

Only an act of God can keep Leo out of the Hall. Oh wait, maybe I should rephrase that.
