Question: What constitutes a Rogers sell out?

For the last few months we have been hearing nonstop about how the Blue Jay home opener was suppose to be sold out and how quickly it did sell out. Well last night they had 48K and shrapnel. A good turnout no doubt, so forgive me if I am wrong, but did 5000 seats disappear when they got rid of Windows Restaurant. Kind of makes you wonder what kind of education Rogers bean counters really have.

When they renovated in 2005 the 100 level concourses was expanded and seats were removed. According to Wikipedia the seating capacity for baseball is 49,260. I don't believe the removal of Windows Restaurant affected the seating capacity.

I've heard some venues call it a sell out when there is either 90% tickets sold, or only single seats left.

That was pretty much the case with the ALS in 2010 when they were supposedly selling out at 25,012.

Boo hoo Jays are now 0-2.
