    Pat Watkins

    I notice Watkins is no longer on the suspended list, but yet there is no transaction saying he has been released.

    Who is the receiver Ted Meline out of Tennessee who was signed recently but does not show on the roster?

    From the articles the last couple of day, it appears the team has given up on him and are moving on. Overall though from last year I thought he played well and reminded me of Brendan Brouwner.

    As there are no specifics why he did not turn up other then the standard "family issues", you get the feeling he may want out and take a shot with the No Funners.

    "Personal issues" can be more than "family issues" and no we haven't received an explanation further than that and it may be a situation where it is none of our business.

    What makes you assume that he was to try another shot at the NFL?

    If that was the case I don't think Barker would call it "serious" and mention the fact he wanted to be here and was expected to go to mini camp.

    All I know is on the first day he arrived, he was at DB and not as a WR.

    Same thing happened to Jamaan Webb this year but I see that the Als have now picked him up.

    As far as Watkins I just hope that the Argos are doing what they can to help. If the guy is suffering from depression for example they should get Pinball on the case to talk to him. Sad as fans we all have no clue what's going on but can only hope for the best. Best case is that he just missed family last year and that he's not in trouble or suffering somehow.
