    The NHL in Seattle.

This seems to come up every so often, but the past few weeks, the stories seem to have picked up.

Seattle might work long-term. Kansas City and Houston, I doubt it. Not sure about Portland.

The last thing that the NHL needs is more teams. They should be contracting down to 24 teams if anything.
Chad Kelly + Dan Adeboboye + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force

I've lived on Vancouver Island for almost ten years and happened to watch a fair bit of Seattle news. First I've ever heard of this. In fact you really see very little hockey coverage on the Seattle networks. You see more highschool football.
Quebec City and that's it. As is the NHL is watered down. I grew up skating on the creek beside my house in Mississauga and playing hockey for years. Haven't had my skates on in about three years and still could skate better than some of these clowns in the NHL.

According to Mr. Pierre Lebrun during yesterday's "Insider Trading", he believes that Seattle is ahead of Quebec in terms of relocation. However he also did point out that new arenas would have to be put in place, so I suppose which ever city gets one first will get a team.

Seattle is farther along right now in getting a new arena than Quebec. They also want the NBA back in town after it left for Oklahoma City a few years ago.
