There could be a three-way tie between Hamilton, Montreal and Toronto (all would be at 2-2) for first place in the eastern division. However, I do not believe Montreal will defeat Calgary and I suspect Hamilton will be in tough against Saskatchewan although it would be nice for some of the Rider fans to be knocked off their pedestal. Hamilton has proven especially vulnerable to the run so far and Saskatchewan has arguably the best RB in the CFL right now in Sheets. I also fully expect British Columbia to knock off the Eskimos this evening.

The fall off the pedestal for Rider fans will be much steeper and more devastating later in the season. Your post does beg the questions to all on here though: Which of Hamilton and Saskatchewan do you hate more? Who are you cheering for on Sunday?

I myself am wrestling with both of those questions although I don't think I can justify hoping for a Hamilton win on Sunday.

I honestly consider the Tiger-Cats the lesser of two evils at this point, Ravi. Before 2007, I suspect my answer would have been different. I'm certainly no fan of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (believe me) but I've said it and I say it again that the venom generated from Hamilton and Toronto is much greater than vice versa. I don't know if it is simply a product of the trouble the Argos are having in the Toronto market as whole or it is something different.

It would be a bigger fall for Sask. to lose to an Eastern team... So let the
Ticats win. Plus, my marriage contract says for better or for worse.... And my hubby is a Ticats diehard.

Somebody lit a fire under Calvillo's butt it is 17-0 for the Alouettes with 7 seconds left in the first and the Als second and goal.

EDIT: Make that 24-0 Montreal. Congrats Als, you got bad Kevin tonight.

Calgary has turned this game upside down! They score to take the lead 28-24 and on the subsequent kickoff when it looks like Montreal will make a KR TD return the returner is pursued from behind and the ball is punched out to become Calgary ball.

ESPN2 viewers are finally seeing the kind of game that has become synonymous with the CFL after seeing Saskatchewan blow out Edmonton in Week 1 and two Montreal losses in low-scoring games the last couple of weeks.

So my power just came on.... In the first quarter was AC and his offence the power house or was the Calgary D just making mistakes.?
Very exciting game for the ESPN2 viewers. That may help the CFL in Toronto if they hear good comments from ESPN.

Been a bad week for QB's so far. First Ray and Pierce, and now Glenn.

It was probably a combination of both but Montreal was sharp in the early going and their coaching staff seemed to have a good gameplan in place. However, after the first quarter, the Stamps coaches made the proper adjustments and the Als' coaching staff has been unable to make the adjustments that they needed to make. Can Hawkins, Miller, et al. adjust to the Canadian game? They are struggling right now.

Just finished watching the 3 hour Rod Black- Anthony Calvillo tribute show...Sorry the Calgary- Montreal game, looks good on the Alouettes.
Keep an eye on Montreals attendance if the team continues to slide, they have been so good for so long that their fan base probably has forgotten what it is like to stick by a losing team, should be interesting!!

We went out with my wifes co-workers as a send off type thing for our move so we were yapping away and looked up to see Calgary keep pulling away. What the hell happened as a 24-0 lead which ended up being 24-19 at the half ended in a huge Calgary butt kicking. By the way, I love it!!!

Believe it or not, that is the largest first quarter deficit in CFL history that a team has been able to overcome.

I thought Black was fawning over Rene Parades more than Calvillo to be honest.

EDIT: Will there be CONSEQUENCES in Edmonton this week?
