I am going to channel OV and say that Hamilton needs to run the ball more or at least find a way to get the ball into the hands of the explosive Chevon Walker. He is really being wasted in Kent Austin's offence so far.

I didn't expect the Ticats to win tonight but I really thought that they would put up a better fight than this. Their offence has really regressed in George Cortez's absence. Might they have been further ahead if they had retained Cortez and tried to just revamp the defence instead of trying to revamp the whole team?

Fantuz being out for them can't help, Ravi, and I suspect that they miss Chris Williams' presence in the receiving corps a little bit.

Yes, this is the first game that I have watched where it has really dawned on me just how much they miss Williams especially. Fantuz's absence hasn't helped either but Burris doesn't seem to have the same comfort level with Austin's offence that he did with Cortez's although that could still come in time.
I guess that the question is whether the Ticats can put it all together in time to challenge the Argos for first place in the East.

Are you just referring to this game or the entire season. We still got plenty of problems to solve before declaring ourselves first place.

about as much chance as saving that car judging from tonight's performance..

Grey cup 106. Newer and bluer meanies
We have problems but I believe we have a lot fewer of them than the other three teams in the East currently. Hamilton could still be good later in the season though and Montreal still has as much talent as anyone although I wonder about their coaching. Winnipeg, I think, is a lost cause although I expected little from them coming into the season.

It's official: the East sucks (0-6). This is depressing.
