It never occurred to me that VBB would properly interpret that code! Many thanks, AF87 - learning is fun!

Great to hear that Waters will likely be available, especially after the Pre disaster Sunday and that Kackert could be available. Whenever, Owens becomes available, the Argos should look at limiting to receiving as I don't think his body will be able to sustain both receiving and returning much longer. It would be tragic if the Argos burned out Owens after spending three years developing him into the league's leading receiver in yardage last year.
That Bombers D deserves a lot of credit for the win last game vs. Riders IMO - shut-down Sheets and relentless pass rush + key play-making (INT by Markett, strip by Labbe); that game and a game early vs. the Als saw the Bombers' D put up the 2 most dominant defensive performances of this season - they are very good at times, just need to be more consistent, and be nice if they had even a half decent offence to help them (not much hope there though).
I don't this Argo D can put up even close to as good a game and against an angry Riders team - but maybe; and the Bombers O did some damage with a running QB - Collaros can scramble as good as Goltz IMO and is 10x better passer - some hope there as the Riders D can be passed on, but they need to go deep - throw some bombs to Chiles and Watt, and hope Durie can do lots of YAC yard damage underneath as well; winable game - YES - but i wouldn't bet on it though, and particularly if we get whipped in the kicking game.
A huge distraction has hit Saskatchewan a couple of days before the big game as two Roughriders - Dwight (Powder Keg) Anderson and Taj Smith - have been charged with aggravated assault: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/...ticle14275741/
BTW, Roughrider MLB Rey Williams is out for the season with an ACL injury as well.
Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
Dwight Anderson is a loose cannon on the field. Is this the first time something definitive has happened with him off the field?
Taj Smith really hurt the Argos in the last match-up IIRC. However, I suppose the fact that they were charged doesn't necessarily mean that he won't play on Saturday.

I was just reading the thread about this over on riderfans.com and while we don't know the facts in this case yet, there are a few who are engaging in the "blaming the victim" mentality. They think that it was some guy who challenged or provoked the Riders. My response to that would be that the players could just walk away. Just because somebody wants to fight you, it doesn't mean that you have to take them up on the offer. These players are 32 and 29 years-old as well and really should know better at their ages, if they are indeed guilty of any wrongdoing.

Dwight Anderson? Shocking!
As to the effect on Saturday's game, this situation could hurt them or it could do the opposite. It's impossible to know, and foolish to assume.
I'm going to assume it'll hurt them or at least hope. Who knows what happened. Perhaps the drug dealer tried to short change them.
Injury updates:
#Argos LB Robert McCune took it easy at practice today. Something nagging him. "He's gonna be a game time decision." - Milanovich.

#Argos CB Pat Watkins was held out today and is a little banged up. He's questionable for Saturday night. #CFL

#Argos' P/K Swayze Waters is back in Saturday night. #CFL

Watkins appeared to have gotten hurt after committing pass interference on the Alouette receiver, but he ended up returning obviously.

Last game was the worst for Watkins since he came to the team.
A third rider player was charged. To be named at 9am (11am) our time.
One issue with guy playing in a the smallest centre in the CFL especially when hitting clubs. They stand out more and there's always going to be some drunk lugnut trying to act tough. The story will come out. Maybe he tried to sell them drugs. Maybe he pushed one or one of their ladies. No difference than in any dance club area in any city or town in Canada. Boozed up fools trying to act tough.
Funny how I've been to bars hundreds and hundreds of times to see various forms of punk and you see or meet some of the craziest, toughest looking guys. Yet never have I witnessed a fight. It's called respect. Hell at rockabilly shows no one cares if you're giving a glace at their lovely rockabilly lady.
If it's true and more players get charged the league has to come up with some strict code of conduct rules if they haven't already. We don't need to have bad press and guys running around getting in fights on the streets. This is sad all in all.

Seems whenever an Argo is questionable, he will sit that game. I expect either Pottinger or Yurichuk in the middle, not sure how the day-backfield gets shuffled to replace Watkins...maybe Matt Black plays over there?
