One issue with guy playing in a the smallest centre in the CFL especially when hitting clubs. They stand out more and there's always going to be some drunk lugnut trying to act tough. The story will come out. Maybe he tried to sell them drugs. Maybe he pushed one or one of their ladies. No difference than in any dance club area in any city or town in Canada. Boozed up fools trying to act tough.
Funny how I've been to bars hundreds and hundreds of times to see various forms of punk and you see or meet some of the craziest, toughest looking guys. Yet never have I witnessed a fight. It's called respect. Hell at rockabilly shows no one cares if you're giving a glace at their lovely rockabilly lady.
If it's true and more players get charged the league has to come up with some strict code of conduct rules if they haven't already. We don't need to have bad press and guys running around getting in fights on the streets. This is sad all in all.

Seems whenever an Argo is questionable, he will sit that game. I expect either Pottinger or Yurichuk in the middle, not sure how the day-backfield gets shuffled to replace Watkins...maybe Matt Black plays over there?
Lots and lots of changes on the depth chart again this week.
DBs: Jamie Robinson has gone on the IR and both Demetrice Morley and Neiko Thorpe have been activated from the PR. Watkins is listed as a starter.
LBs: McCune will sit, and Pottinger is listed as the starter at MLB.
DL: Laing is still hurt or they really liked last week's lineup - no changes.
OL: New guy Koch takes Parenteau's spot.
RB: Kackert is activated as the starter, and newly acquired Woodson is listed as a backup. JJ goes back on the IR and Porter to the PR.
RC: Guy goes on the IR, Feoli-Gudino comes off. Inman is now listed as a SB, but that probably doesn't mean much.
K/P: Waters is back.

It's interesting to see Guy off the roster. I don't know if Norwood will return punts as well as KOs -- he struck me as more of a power-back type than a shifty returner type. Maybe we will see Chiles or Matt Black returning punts. I'm glad to see Pottinger listed as starting MLB -- he deserves that based on his experience and how well he has played on STs this year.
Given how thin we suddenly are at LB and DB, I think both Morley and Thorpe will dress. The three imports who sit will probably be Rogers, Bryant and English, IMO.
Guy was limping during the fourth quarter of the game last Sunday so I can't say that I am surprised that he isn't in the lineup this week. I thought that he did a decent job returning punts last game. I wouldn't be surprised to see Chiles performing those duties on Saturday but it will be interesting to see who they go to.
Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
I find it interesting that Noel Prefontaine has been placed on the nine-game injured list. You are allowed to pull two players early from that 9-game list and the Argos have used one of those "pulls" on Chad Kackert. Hopefully nothing further will happen to Waters but if anything does, I wonder if they won't pursue another kicker instead of taking Prefontaine off the nine-game list early.

I don't think Pre will be kicking for us again. I assume the nine-gaming was a way to treat a good soldier with respect (and money). Wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a kicking or ST coach for us at some point. If Waters gets hurt, we will sign another import or try someone like Palardy.

I'll guess that Jones, Rogers, Bryant, and Thorpe sit.
I get it. I live in the sticks.
Thanks to the farmers of Sask for keeping me supplied with some of my all time favorite things like mustard, flax, wheat and canola oil. By the way are there more beautiful fields anywhere than a blue flax field in bloom? The landscaper in me can appreciate that. Those combines of today must have the old time farmers in some serious envy. I'm blown away how agricultural our new area of Duoro Dummer and The Kawarthas in general are. I like. Good eats in the area.
Two big thumbs up! I was riding in my brothers combine when I was home the other day. Totally different from 20 years ago. Quiet, A/C, GPS guided, no dust, computer monitoring that rivals a nuclear power plant. Pretty nice ( a new model will set you back 600K) but it is only one component of getting food to your plate. So back to the game, no Dressler or Williams for us. No Ricky Ray and Owens for you guys. Who is going to come out on top. Saturday night game on a beautiful fall evening and a full house. Bring it on baby!!!
