Any issues in Calgary? Team is 8-2 and in first heading into a Friday night home game and they draw 26K? That's not horrible, but under the circumstances it's not great.

We are the last people who should be bringing up other team's attendance figures. Let's not sound like Rider Fans where it seems sometimes like there is one of these threads on every other page.
TORONTO ARGONAUTS FOOTBALL CLUB
GREY CUP CHAMPIONS: 1914, 1921, 1933, 1937, 1938, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1950, 1952, 1983, 1991, 1996, 1997, 2004, 2012, 2017, 2022
It is interesting to analyze the other teams and get an idea why they are struggling to sell out. We all can think of reasons why the Argos struggle but I am curious about their issues especially being a former Calgarian myself.

My wife is a former Calgarian and still a huge Stamps fan and we both noticed the massive amount of empty seats. Hamilton not a big draw?
There's no reason to be so sensitive or childish, KC.
Calgary average attendance is 29,701 through five home dates. Their first two games they had attendance very similar to the latest so it isn't unprecedented.
I'd chalk it up to lack of bonus visitors playing Hamilton and a natural slow down in the first game after labour day. Doesn't look too alarming.
edit: Stampeders attendance was 28,665 in 2012 according to: http://stats.cfldb.ca/league/cfl/2012/attendance/

I can't help but think that the flood in the summer has something to do with the lower attendance. Some people likely have more to worry about than the Stamps.
It's us vs the rest of the country
Good point AV. My daughter moved out there in the spring (fortunately she was not affected by the flood), she tells me that you can't go anywhere in Calgary without seeing Stampeders merchandise being displayed. She even goes to the games. Football is alive & well in the Foothills...even with Kevin Glenn on the roster....
I would guess that it's affected folks from really hard hit areas. My wife's family still hits games and was barely affected. Although my brother in law is a Calgary Firefighter and was very crazy busy during the floods obviously.
