Bombers will be playing loose just trying to knock us off. The crowd will be loud and hopefully the weather isn't horrible. We need to get a fast start and stay away from pentalties.

As bad as Winnipeg is, you can't gift them points like Montreal did yesterday and expect to win. I would hope to see a sharper performance on Saturday with the Argos winning the turnover battle and staying away from the undisciplined play that hurt them against Hamilton.

Agreed, this Argos team needs to break the habit of being completely lousy in the first half of football games. Coming out with some fire would be pleasant to see.

I'm not panicking. I think it was predictable that Ricky needed a game to throw off the rust and he still put up pretty decent stats in the last half. My one concern is that he seemed somewhat hesitant to try the long ball. I don't know if it was the injury or Chiles not being in there or what. Look to see if that changes versus Winnipeg. The Bombers have given up the most points in the league by a long shot.

The Argos have to start putting out a consistent effort throughout the game. While it is possible that they might beat Winnipeg and Montreal in their three remaining games with a less than shining performance because they are weak teams (although this is far from guaranteed), they need to upgrade their game if they are to be ready for the playoffs. Victories are not sufficient - better offensive and defensive line play are a must and more consistency in every aspect of the game are needed for the playoffs.

The silver lining is that if they had secured first yesterday there would be a sense of complacency that would be present for 4 weeks until they play another meaningful game in the Eastern Final. Now, because they like to do things the hard way, at least each remaining game will be meaningful and hopefully with that comes mental sharpness.

Also possible that this team is doing the opposite of last season.

Plus. Chances are when the Argos play the Als at the last game ... AC will be back.

Max Hall isn't a bad QB. He's shown some quick thinking and skill, playing behind a pretty lousy line.

Just hope he doesn't pick apart our defense with screen plays. Ray staying off the field was why we lost last game.

Depth chart shows Chiles and Black still out, but indicates the return of Watkins and Morley. Holmes will start at RT and we've got two LBs listed as DEs, suggesting a willingness to experiment.

...also, both J Williams and A English were PR'd yesterday. I see no reason to complain.

King isn't just hurt, he has been 9-gamed. I sincerely hope that Holmes has made friends with CVZ and that the right side of the OL will be taken care of. We'll see!

If we don't come out with guns a blazin I'll be worried. They need to get into playoff mode today. Every down on both sides of the ball should be played like they are fighting for a playoff birth. They have to stop this sad assed first half football. If we crap this one I'll be very worried that we're doing the exact opposite of last year.
