Bluto, the most shocking aspect regarding the Pigskin Pete photo is the lack of spelling errors, must have taken a while to get it right!

Hamilton has played us tough and most likely will feel over confident. Hopefully Ray can pick them apart and with two weeks to prepare we have added some nice twists and surprises. I keep saying that Hamilton was supposed to have good teams for the last few years and it hasn't worked out so we better be on.

I just can't believe that I'll be on the couch for this one. Too many expenses with moving across country just to get back to Ontario. Moving to zero work means being tight with cash. At least my wife found a great job which she just started this week. Hopefully I'll get to see my Argos some next season.

It's unfortunate that we'll be without Kackert, who has played well recently. I was worried about his conditioning and lack of elusiveness early in the season, but either I was totally wrong or he improved considerably later in the season. (Probably the former)

I am very happy that we've continued to experiment with DL personnel late in the season. I don't expect them to be terrific at this point, but I think they'll be good. This is progress! The rest of the D is unpredictable with flashes of brilliance, and that should be more than enough. Our offense is better than Guelph's.

    31-20 Toronto.

    I'll say 47-45 Argos.

While I'm at it, the Riders will win on a last minute score, Western will crush Calgary, and Laval will do the same to Mt. Allison.

That is a considerable delay. Even worse the Western Final won't air until 12:00am on November 19th. I've updated the info in both threads. At least the Grey Cup will be live.

Perhaps check out riderfans.com (on game day) where, for the two semi-final games, a link to a perfectly operating TSN feed was supplied. The same again may be specified for the two finals (I hope).

Ugh - I hadn't noticed that. I'll have to look into some P2P options; I'll post if I find any.

Our keys to the game are shutting down CJ Gable mainly and to a lesser extent Fantuz. Hank's options go downhill after those two and he starts taking chances (interception opportunities). WIth Chiles back, as long as Ricky has time to operate he has too many weapons for Hamilton's secondary to handle. WIll be a close game regardless and hopefully a classic with weather conditions being taken out of play.

Austin's mighty simple offence almost totally ignored Gable as a ball carrier in the semi vs, the Als and he had negative rushing yardage on a few carries; their run game is LeFevour on the QB option - love to see McCune or Ball take his head off if they stick to that bs; and Gable is vastly over-rated anyways IMO - Austin recently calling him such a great CFL back - what a joke - guy has a few decent open field moves, but little power or break-away speed. And agreed Fantuz is their main receiving threat, though rookie Ellingson is pretty good - the Argos receiving corps is 10x better and Ray is a way smarter and more accurate passer than good or bad Hank.

And the Ticat D is mediocre at best. Unless the Argo D craps the bed - Argos by 17 or more.

I'm not high on gable either but man have those little dump passes to him gone for big yards when otherwise we've had the other receivers in check. guess the key is to get pressure on hank and get him pressing to hit receivers that may not be open. otherwise I'm ok with our chances, with enough time Ricky will find open guys - i'll tkae our receivers over their secondary all day.

If Norwood is used intelligently (which assumes, at the minimum, that the run game is not ignored or abandoned without cause), and Norwood can at least match the production of Gable (whatever that may be), then I'd tend to like the Argos chances.

I expect Norwood and the O Line to have a good game. OTOH, I remain concerned about the Argos D.

    Go Argos!

Gable has made a number of unteachable, extremely athletic plays, e.g., his absolutely stellar catch, bounce-and-spin, and touchdown run in the EDSF.
