Thanks for the updates Qman!!
Great for those of us who don't regularly get down by the Ex to have a look.
With the last pic showing the big tfc sign let's hope the new Argo owners put up some fight into getting a big Argo sign next to it. I know ml$e has stated before that there would be no permanent signage of the Argos after game days anywhere at bmo field am hoping someone well step up to correct this and not just have some cheap looking Argo flag or banner showing just on game days.
How true. Too bad the Argos and CFL couldn't convert Rogers into an ally rather than a hated adversary. If Rogers invested as much capital in helping build Canadian football rather than trying to tear it down, the CFL could become one of the top sports league's on the planet.
This feud goes far beyond simply competing broadcasting rights. CTV/TSN have the lions-share of NFL broadcasts so does Rogers/Sportsnet shun the NFL too? I don't think so. As Argo owners Bell/Tanenbaum would likely have to pay a fee to MLSE for the right to display permanent Argo signage at BMO...which TFC would likely be exempt-from as they are wholly-owned by MLSE. It was probably Leiweke's deal to downplay the Argos at BMO with no signage to help appease the TFC fans who were upset that football was invading their, umm...football field.
After so many decades in the Rogers Centre wilderness it would be nice to be at a stadium that feels like an Argo stadium, IE colours, signage to make it feel like it is our stadium too.
GO ARGOS!!!

interesting tour given by the contractors.
That tour was very TFC orientated. No mention of the Argos at all. I'm still concerned that it will be no different than Skydome, unwelcome tenets in someone elses house. There were some "interesting" and typical comments from the TFC crowd on that video. Kind of sad really.
Will be less scheduling conflict with TFC than there was with the Blue Jays, plus I honestly don't care about TFC and care even less about what their fans think about the Argonauts sharing the PUBLICS stadium.
Look forward to a more suitable (renovated) stadium, better ownership and a much improved game day experience and ignore the other bullshit!!
again, TSN basically controls when Argos home games happen. They own the MLS rights and control when TFC home games happen (if they want to get on TV). The schedule will be good. The schedule priority thing is total BS to get the soccer nuts to calm down.
