    Argos jerseys

Does anyone dislike it when they buy a Cory Boyd jersey, Dontrelle Inman jersey, Kevin Eiben jersey his last year with Toronto and then they go elsewhere? I hate that. You should get 50 per cent off on your next jersey if that happens. I gues the secret is buying young canadian jerseys like Andre Durie or Cleyon Laing. At least you know they will be there for a couple of seasons.

Mine isn't Argo related, but last year I decided I need a new Patriots jersey so I really wanted a Welker jersey but I knew the Pats wouldn't re-sign him so my next favorite player was Aaron Hernandez.. So I got a Hernandez jersey. Well, we all know how that ended up. I feel your pain. I Should've got a Julian Edelman jersey.

Add Rudy Gay to the list! I Bought a Boyd right before he was released, I never got a chance to wear it! My wife luckily exchanged it at the Bills store for a Durie before word spread. Others I've had were Clemons, Flutie, and O'Shea, so not too bad. Pro sports is too risky now. Long gone are the likes of Steve Yzerman. I am happy If I get 2 years on a player. Most sports jerseys are redone every few years anyway.

The CFL in particular has high player turnover, put your own name on your jersey.

It used to be that the CFL got criticized for high player turnover back in the 1980s but it seems like every other major pro sports league has caught up, if not surpassed, the CFL in player turnover IMO and I don't hear that particular criticism of the CFL so much anymore.

Such is life when all sports (except baseball...but we can debate if that is really a sport..LOL) go with a salary cap. Up and coming players earn raises meaning many vets making good pay get dropped.

I am not saying that there isn't turnover in the CFL but is there any less in Major League Baseball or the NHL? I agree that there was too much turnover in the Argo defence in 2013 for a variety of reasons.

Some sports fans (on other non CFL forums) believe putting your own name on a jersey is a "foul". I got Boyd at the locker room sale so I didn't mind but it at the old jersey not the new design. My other choice was Cleo Lemon. For now, you may think it's bad thing but wait in a few years. There have been some rare NBA, NFL & NHL jerseys that are worth more now with odd names. Everyone has a Sundin jersey but how many people have an Aki Berg jersey? Now with the CFL, any jersey in a few years may be rare. I like to with legends on the back but only if it's the proper jersey. There is no way I would get the new jersey with Krol #55 on the back. Some would but I guess I'm a jersey snob.

Bought a Boyd at 60percent off after he was let go and threw a blank name plate on it. Now it's a nameless 3 jersey

Hell I bought a Moss Viking jersey for dirt after his last stint. Part of the history of your team. You never need to feel bad unless the back of your jersey says Bishop. haha. I know they're are plenty of lovers of that stiff.

I have three Argo jersey's that have 90 and ARGOHOLIC on them. The year the Argoholics were formed.

Just wear your jersey's proudly. You can't get caught up in the marketing BS, it'll drive you crazy.

How many different jersey's do you think Lori Bursey has? A crazy amount and most are long gone I'm sure.

Just getr numbers. You'll remember who the player you loved was. I have an old Masca Leaf jersey with 25 that I gave to my wife as it fits me like a glove now. It was Terry Martin. Star once wrote an article on how he was one of the toughest light weight fighters in the league.

Agree with you Argoholic, wear the jersey proudly, support the team, put your own name on or whatever (who gives a rats ass what people think of that) most importantly show up to the games and be heard!!!

Hey, I bought a couple of those cheap Argo jersey's from National Sports (Bishop and Avery) when they were getting rid of inventory years ago. I have no problem wearing them around.

Same as when you go on one of the big US sites like Sports Fanatics if you purchase US college or NFL gear. Click on the sale section. Big deal it's brand new last years stock for much less. My wife just found out yesterday that Sports Fanatics is going to send her a new Michigan purse a year after purchase because hers is ripping bad. Not bad at all.
Now that I'm back in the part of Canada where you must have winter clothes I'm adding to my hoodie collection. Have my eye on a few Wolverine hoodies.
