    Modern Family and the Argos

    Not that many of you may watch the show but on tonight's episode of "Modern Family" they were watching a football game at around the 15:00 minute mark and when it showed what they were watching it was an Argos/Al's game from 2012. The players that were recognizable were Jarious Jackson and featured most prominently was the late Chandler Williams. It was a nice surprise and made me miss the Argos...sigh, it's only January. At least the NFL playoffs have been interesting...

    I believe the Buffalo Wild Wing commercials show Hamilton vs Toronto from 2012 as well in the background on the TV screens. Or was it Tor vs Mtl?

    I've seen this topic discussed in the CFL forums before I believe. There is a history of CFL games being played in quite a few movies, tv shows and commercials. It has to do with the licensing and permission, otherwise known as money, required to use NFL video.
