    I cant believe they are approving this and not a new home for the argos... more people play football than cricket.

    I might as well issue a press release saying that I have secured $800 million in funding for a state-of-the-art 50k stadium for the Argos. I don't know where I am going to put that stadium yet but, just like with this cricket stadium, there are a few municipalities that I may be able to work out a deal with. My proposal would have just as much credibility as this cricket one does.

    This was already mentioned in the Kickstarter Thread but there doesn't seem to be much substance to the press release. It reminds me of that press conference from a couple of years ago about a second NHL team for the Toronto area.
