Looks like Argos fan day is back this year. Saw the below posted in Twitter. Don't know if I'll be able to make it, as I have a cast on my leg following surgery last week to repair a torn achilles. Hoping it will be at least a walking boot by then.
All this had me thinking as to why there was no fan day last year. I can't help but think it had more to do with the crappy UTM conditions than anything else. The team had no idea how bad the field was going to be, and I'm sure didn't want the fans to be stuck on a water filled field, yet at the same time, likely couldn't just move this type of event to the high school they often practiced at in Oakville.

If this goes down without a work stopage, this looks like a great idea. In the past, they've done a walk through practice which is kind of boring. By adding a mock game to it, this should be good for all fans to attend...Too bad I won't be able to. Originally Posted by T-Bone

They usually did mock games on another date, last year it was in Burlington after UTM kicked them off of their water logged field. Fine print says can be cancelled at any time, hoping it refers to the strike and not the fact that the Argos want to pull the plug just beacuse.
