I wish my tweets were positive, but wow the Argos are giving me good stuff @HumbleN
Lots of empty seats for home/season opener. Not a good impression for espn monday morning qb guy!!!
The Argos will be better in the second half. I am going out on the limb and saying that they will come back to win this game.
Chad Kelly + Dan Adeboboye + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
Milt has it right!!! Loving rod as the host and the new music tsn is using
Argos have a real chance of setting a league record tonight - for most penalties by a team in one game. They have 16 at the half. At this rate they would have 32 at the end of the game, smashing the record of 27.
Most Penalties, Single Game One team
27 Hamilton vs Winnipeg 24 July 9 1992
24 BC vs Calgary July 21/95

Other then Waters who is punting the lights out, the remainder of the ST is also having a bad game.
Two and out for the Argos to start the second half. Where have I seen that before?
I'm reminded of an old broadcasting quote:
"If you promise to patronize our sponsors then we'll allow you to walk your dog."
This has been bad. For all of the obvious reasons.
Underwood gives the Argos a push toward the all-time penalty record with a bonus TD thrown in on the next play!
.
I dunno, looked like a fair bit of acting by that receiver on the pass interference.
Going back to the Final last year, this is 2 consecutive meaningful bad games.
The problem with the replay is that the replay judge will rule it by the book. The officials on the field have always allowed the hand fighting between receivers and db's, but it was a penalty by definition.
Can't argue the call.
It'll take a while to establish a consensus on what is an "acceptable" level of pass interference. Because if you look hard enough (i.e. via replay), there's usually *something* illegal happening.
For the time being, it is what it is. We should be challenging any big incompletions with close coverage.
