One NAT and one INT have to sit -- I'm guessing an INT d-lineman (probably Okpalaugo, since he hasn't been here long) and either a FB or Adjei draw the short straws.

It does seem as though we basically anointed him as Pat Watkins 2.0. Hopefully that works out (and he isn't Ahmad Carroll 2.0). Fortunately we won't have to wait much longer to find out!

What has this Okapaulga fellow done to dress in game 1? Where does Jalil Carter fit into the plans? Sinkfield not playing is just wrong.....thing is Argo fans, don't expect any explanations.

    Um, what?

Ganter reported that Okpalaugo was brought in to give us DL depth after we suffered some injuries. Carter is one of our starting halfbacks. Sinkfield is either dinged or we decided to dress someone else; we'll find out in the next few days whether he's really hurt or not. What are you whining about?

While I like Sinkfield's talent, it isn't as if our receiving corps will significantly suffer because of his absence.

I noticed Josh Jasper who was released on cutdown day is listed as the punter for tomorrows game, but yet I don't see him anywhere on the roster.

I'd be very surprised if they kept Adjei out of the lineup at any time this season.

I would take Darvin Adams over Sinkfield any day of the week. He's a more pro-ready receiver IMO.

My suspicion is that if and when Sinkfield gets into the lineup, it will be more as a kick returner than as a receiver.
Chad Kelly + Dan Adeboboye + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force

I am not seeing this. Waters is listed as both the kicker and punter on the depth chart that I am looking at.

Great time of the year, looking forward to an entertaining team.
I am very anxious to see how our D looks right out of the box this season.

A laudable goal, but does accusing someone of "whining" achieve it?

Tim Burke's influence on the defence, very evident at a Varsity last week. Reminded me of Winnipeg and Montreal when he was DC there. I hope that the D can carry it through into the season!

Let me be the first to welcome you to the site '71GC.

I am really excited about seeing a pro active D rather than a re-active D this year.

Same here. Was concerned about the D before pre-season and trying really hard not to throw too much stock into pre-season but man watching our D get after the ticats QB's was really fun to watch last week. Anything near that will be fun this season even though I'm sure we'll have some ups and downs on the defensive side of the ball. We know our offense is capable of putting up points to help the D out so we'll see.

I'm expecting a hot start tonight in winnpeg too...

Text and interactive list Jasper as P, PDF lists Waters as P/K. I also see Durie is listed as starting WR2 and SB2 but I assume Bradwell will go to WR. The other lists Watt as WR2.

I believe the Argos now only send cryptic messages out for public release. Maybe Frank Ziccarelli was on to something.

Not to imply that Ware will be a bust, but you could tell Watkins was going to be a great player from the moment he stepped on the field in training camp. I'm not sure I feel that way about Ware.

How do you think the RB duties will be spilt up between Steele & Johnson? Will one be a short yardage or will they give them both an equal amount of touches.
