All cuts must be made by 10pm ET on Saturday night. Below is a list of all transactions made prior to the deadline. Stay linked throughout the day for more updates.

The Lions announced their cuts just after 3:30pm ET on Saturday. There were no surprises amongst the released group, as Wally Buono and his football oeprations department parted ways with seven players: National RB Guillame Bourassa, International DB Tony Burnett, International LB Korey Jones, International DT Dyrell Porcha, International OT RJ Dill, National K/P Steven Shott, and National LB Thomas Spoletini.

Also released by the Riders: National receiver Alex Anthony, National receiver Kristopher Bastien, International defensive lineman Jeremy Beal, National linebacker Travis Bent, International receiver Dan DePalma, International defensive lineman Robert Eddins, International linebacker Mortty Ivy, National fullback Andre Lalonde, National kicker John Mark, International defensive back Greg McCoy, National offensive lineman Kyle Paterson, National linebacker Kevin Regimbald, International receiver DeMarco Sampson, National receiver Jordan Sisco, International defensive back Troy Stoudermire, International defensive lineman Richard Sumlin, International receiver Isaiah Sweeney, International running back Jermaine Thomas, International offensive lineman Devin Tyler, National offensive lineman Matt Vonk, International quarterback Adam Weber, National defensive back Matt Webster, National defensive lineman Ryan Wellman, International defensive lineman Markus White.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announced their final roster cuts on Friday, with former starting QB Max Hall headlining the group.
Also released by the Bombers were international receivers Mario Urrutia, Mark Dell, Jaymar Johnson, and Bert Reed, international defensive backs Stephon Morris, Michael Ray Garvin, and Matt Pierce, international defensive lineman Willie Moseley, international offensive lineman Jesse peterson, and national receiver Taylor Renaud.

The Tiger-Cats made their roster moves public just prior to the 10pm deadline, announcing on Twitter that five players have been released.
Headlining the group was DB Evan McCollough, who joined the Ticats prior to the 2013 season. In his one season with the Ticats, McCollough registered 43 tackles, and no interceptions, the first time in his career he failed to pick off one pass.
The Ticats also parted ways with DB Korey Lindsey, DB Demetrice Morley, QB Corey Robinson, and OL D.J. Young.

    Yet to be announced.

The REDBLACKS announced their cuts on Saturday morning, just hours after they played their final pre-season game against the Montreal Alouettes.
General Manager Marcel Desjardins declared 14 cuts to the team's final roster, with veteran kicker Justin Parlardy and National receiver Simon LeMarquand among the most notable.
Desjardins also announced that National receiver Steven Adu, International DB Parker Orms, International LB Devin Arrington, National DL Stephon Miller, International DL Dimetrio Tyson, International kicker Paolo Henriques, National OL Brendan Dunn, National OL Aaron Wheaton, International WR Taulib Ikharo, international WR Travon Patterson, National receiver Aaron Hargreaves, and National OL James Lee have all been released.

Montreal announced their cuts on Saturday evening, with 14 players being released. DB Ed Gainey, DL Scooter Berry and kick returner Tyron Carrier were among the notable released by the Als.
Also cut by the Als were International kicker Delbert Alvarado, International tackle Daniel Baldridge, International OL Ryan Cave, International receiver Preston Cleckley, International CB Brandon Driver, International DB Dominique Ellis, International RB Robert Godhigh, International receiver Brandan Green, International OL Elliott Mealer, National receiver MacKenzie Sarro, and International OL Wayne Tribue.
The Als also added nine players to their practice roster on Saturday: National K/P Nick Boyd, International DE Brian Brikowski, International receiver Mardy Gilyards, National DB Jamal Knowles, International RB Brandon Rutley, National OL Jake Piotrowski, National receiver Andrew Smith, National LB James Tuck and International DB Winston Venable.
Later in the night, the Als announced three more releases, with longtime veteran Jamel Richardson among them. Also released by the Als in the second group was linebacker Diamond Ferri and offensive lineman Mike Golic

Surpise cuts IMO are Jamel Richardson, Hugh Charles, Evan McCollough. Big names who are not surprising is Brandon Issac and Martell Mallett. Argo draft pick, Gregory Alexandre was also released by Edmonton.

Some former high draft picks were also let go including Jordan Sisco, Jade Etienne, and Kris Bastien by the Roughriders. Alexandre stood out for me too given how much OV promoted him over the last few years. Alexandre hung around practice rosters for at least a couple of years but I am not sure that he ever played a regular season game.

I guess this means Ochocinco beat out Richardson in Montreal.

End of the line for Greg Alexandre, one would imagine.

    Could Hugh Charles be Regina-bound?

There might be takers for Etienne and McCollough, I would think.

I read that Richardson has yet to practise, surprised to see Kris Bastiens name, although I suspect he will be on the PR. Noticed WR Marcus Henry showed up in Ottawa last week from Edmonton, did the Eskimos cut him?

I believe Ottawa signed Henry the same day Edmonton released him. Edmonton has quite a stable of Canadian receivers, which probably had something to do with Henry's release. Looks like he can still play as he made some nice catches against Montreal Friday night. Ottawa will keep plugging a few holes with some released vets I imagine. It appears they are still looking for a kicker, as they have released everyone in camp. Could Argo backup Jasper be in their sights? He looked good in preseason.

Perhaps Jasper has been traded to Ottawa but the trade is "Yet to be announced" by the Boatmen

Jasper was released outright so Ottawa can have him for free. There are a few kickers floating out there for the RedBlacks to pick up.

According to the Winnipeg Free Press' Ed Tait, Alexandre has accepted a spot on Edmonton's PR.

Le Rouge et Noir picked up Maher, the kicker Winnipeg released a few days ago. He can do all three positions, so I'm thinking that if Ottawa pick up Jasper he may be on their PR.
One question .... if a player is on PR, doe that make him fair game for any team?

I think it did at one point--the Argos snatched Ricky Foggie off of BC's PR in 1990.
I don't know if it's the same now though.

Ottawa released Maher later yesterday and no longer have any kickers on the roster. And, yes, players on the PR are fair game. However, I believe that there is an unwritten rule that a GM of the team wanting that player gives the other team a "heads-up" that they will take him. I remember Paul Masotti being ticked off with Jim Popp back in 2001 when Popp plucked Angus Reid off of Toronto's PR allegedly without giving any warning.

I recall Reid being snatched off the Argos PR, but I thought it was by B.C., the team Reid stayed with the rest of his career?

No, he spent a few months in Montreal before being traded to B.C. for Adriano Belli who wanted to play in the east to be closer to the family business.

In other sports like baseball and hockey doesn't a player have to clear waivers before being demoted to a minor league team. I'm guessing it's the same thing? When a player is released, anyone can pick him up but if not he is then added to the PR if that's what the player and team agree to.

A few years ago, the Dallas Cowboys released Danny Amendola in hopes of putting him on their PR but he then accepted an offer from Rams instead and the rest is history. More locally, the Stamps wanted to do the same thing with Ameet Pall but the Als then picked up which Hufnagel wasn't too happy about. PR players may be available like Ravi said and it's just an unwritten rule to not touch them.
