Just into the 4th Quarter watching the Al's and Stamps.

I'd suggest the Al's offense under Rick Worman after having a few "breakfast beers", would have performed far better than it did today under "DIM"witty, and Father Higgin's.

2 huge hits in a row in the Calgary - Montreal game. Cornish had to leave the game.

The MTL defense played pretty good....but they were on the field far too much.

Calgary looked far more prepared, while the Al's looked lost on offence.

Troy Smith is throwing the ball like Michael Bishop...a cannon with no gunsite.

Boy, both of last years doormats looked pretty good on opening day. Should be interesting to see how the season plays out.

Troy Smith did remind be quite a bit of Michael Bishop. It'll be interesting to see how he progresses throughout the season. I think that Montreal has a good enough D to keep them in ballgames, but if the offense remains that putrid they won't be winning too many of them.

Kevin Glenn was absolutely retched out there.

Yes, he brought back a lot of memories with his performance yesterday. I really like the way Smith played last season but he has been very shaky so far in 2014. Having that late change in offensive coordinators could not have helped either.

I actually prefer to see the west lose....They think they invented football out there.

Terrible start for Hamilton and their future hall of fame QB.

In this case, I am quite happy that Hamilton is losing. For all of the money they spent on free agents this off-season, perhaps they should have used more of it on their offensive line.

Watching Hamilton lose this big is making my weekend....looks like Ottawa will be the only unbeaten team in the East after week one...

Not even three quarters done in Regina and the Ticats have given up 8 sacks.

With all the infractions Hamilton has, I am shocked they have a ways to go to catch Toronto's total from Thursday night...now 9 sacks....Purolator Tackle Hunger is benefiting...

If I was running Hamilton, I would seriously consider starting 3 Internationals on O-line. They have enough quality Canadians elsewhere to be able to afford this. Collaros just got killed tonight.

Trouble is, their International o-linemen aren't much better than their Nationals. Austin has done a good job rebuilding the Ticats roster but he appears to have failed miserably on the o-line. I imagine they will be putting a call in to Calgary to re-obtain Marwan Hage's rights any minute now.

If Hamilton does want to reaquire Hage, I for see a situation for Hufnagle that Barker was in last season involving Dan Federkeil. Hage will play in Hamilton only, similar to Federkeil only wanting to play in Calgary, so like Barker, Huff will have no leverage will may only get a spare parts in return for a starter.

Austin did not take any O-Lineman in the draft this year; he also passed - twice - on a shot to draft Brent Jones (instant starter and CFL ROY) in last year's draft. Perhaps he underestimated the talent he has on the O-Line? Hage returning could help - perhaps - not so sure about that though.
Why didn't kent-boy start 3 imports on the O-Line first game, as was speculated?
