SI, Peter King covering the CFL

Great kickoff story by SI. They are having Canadian week covering the CFL. Interesting how an American can find great storys to do on the CFL, but nothing like this ever comes out of the Toronto base media

    Nice find, thanks.

He also says that if they get enough Clicks on the articles they'll continue to cover the CFL.

One comment from the Peter King/Marc Trestman article - "Living in Southern Ontario I have never watched a CFL game, NFL is king"

Great stuff, and yes, it is somewhat sad that we will have better opening week coverage from SI than we will from most of our "major" media outlets.

Great to see this level of coverage. I shared it on Facebook to get others to read it.

Perhaps some of the TO media will find this and realize.... we have a gem here! .... we should be promoting this more!

Fantastic article. I'm really glad to see them give this exposure. I don't remember reading about the CFL in SI since Rocket Ismail!

Excellent articles. Cool how Flutie was able to call his own plays on the field on a whim. NFL sounds like a fun game to play in (sarcasm)....

I haven't watched Prime Time Sports in a long time but I know that King was a regular on there. He might not be after this series of articles.

Yes he's been a regular on PTS for years, probably decades now. He's their regular NFL guy.

I feel quite confident in believing that this week's MMQB coverage will NOT result in King being expelled from PTS. There would no rational reason to do so, even if it was/is Rogers' corporate policy to undermine the CFL.

I am sure the next time Peter King appears on PTS, the host will no doubt ask him all about his "Canadian Week" articles.....kidding...great work Mr. King, CFL fans really appreciate it.

He used to be until a few years ago. Now it's Don Banks, another writer from Sports Illustrated.
