You can throw the late Tom McKee in as well, Paul. He was quite an active participant on the sidelines as evidenced by that 1977 Toronto/Montreal game that you posted to YouTube. We definitely don't get the quality or quantity of information from the sideline reporters today that we used to get in the 1970s and 1980s. During that '83 East Final, Stephenson worked the Argos sideline and McCann worked the Hamilton sideline and there were several interesting interviews and tidbits that came out of their work. The CFL would be wise to get back to allowing sideline interviews of players who are participating in the game IMO.
Chad Kelly + Dan Adeboboye + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
We'll see how our D steps up this weekend. Pressuring Durant and containing their receivers will be huge. Not too worried about hte riders ground game and given how they watched winnipeg move the ball on us in the air - doubt they are too worried about using their run game.
Offence needs to generate some early points and take some pressure off the D who is no doubt a little gunshy after the quick start the bombers got out to on us.
Any injuries or position switches been rumoured or are we waiting for the depth chart to come out?
Hey #Argos fans if you're looking for our Radio broadcast on Sat. turn the dial this week to @newstalk1010 to hear @tsnmikehogan & @JJ33ARGO

- Last Week: Adjei was so deep on the depth chart that he did not see the field against Winnipeg. At least I did not see him out there as I watched the game. He's a rookie and is going to have to earn good playing time.
- This Week: Playing the defending Grey Cup Champions means that Toronto will likely not be in a position to play too many third string rookies. Adjei showed potential on special teams in the pre season so that may be where he starts to break onto the roster.
- Expectation: The Roughriders looked like the defending CFL champions last week. The game was over by halftime. Meanwhile Toronto's defensive backfield was very suspect last week. The import heavy unit took bad angles in the endzone and it costs them dearly, there is no reason to think that Durant can't pick them apart like Willy did: Saskatchewan 35 - Toronto 24
I think we'll put up enough points on them. Question is if the D can put in a better performance. Should help us a bit that the Riders have to travel on a short week.
Hey all, anyone know if the old tailgate lot on Bremner is still taking cars? Anyone know of any tailgate plans other than the Official one?
Good luck this week Argo fans. Hope your guys take it to Saskatchewan. The D needs to play better and if you can get more of a ground game than you had last week, Ray will stay on his feet and lead the Argos to victory. I'll say 32-27 Argos.
Support CFL league & team sponsors by buying their stuff!!!
If both team's first game of this sched. are any indictation - this game COULD be ugly. Swarming, veteran Rider D all over Ricky Ray, especially if they continue to ignore ground game support; and diverse Rider O led by a powerhouse O-Line - can smash the run and protect a good QB like Durant - vs. an iffy & inexperienced Argo D ???
Argos need to come out fired-up with a smart game plan on O, and for their D to make plays - I'm hopin' this can happen ?
Sorry, this might not be the right place to post this. Just wondering if anyone has any ticket connections that they can share with me for the July 12th game. I was going to buy 2 tickets through ticketmaster but they want $72.65 each for bronze seats -- the same seats that are $54 + fees...that means ticket master is charging $18.65 in addition to the base price -- I realize that these prices are fairly reasonable when compared to other Toronto sports teams but still, it's a bit steep (especially for bronze seats). Oh yes, I also forgot about the $2 per ticket processing fee. I don't mind paying for the tickets but I remember having some promotional offers last year that allowed me to get bronze seats for around $40 each.
Or just call the Argonauts directly at 4163412746:

Going to be a warm one tomorrow. Hopefully our O can establish itself early and get some points on the board.
depth chart isn't up yet? guess that will be put up later this morning - curious who is getting the start at RB and in the slot in place of Barnes (who i last read was questionable)
Hopefully the roof will be open, it's a much better Stadium when the roof is open.
I'm reading on the cfl.ca website only 6,500 tickets sold? it can't be that bad can it?
ugh.
Yes, I just walked past it less than an hour ago.
Apparently, yes.
Riders have one of the better offensive lines in the league and with an inexperienced and undisciplined Argos D-Line, I am not convinced we will be successful in pressuring Durant meaning our DBs will probably give up big gains.
I just hope Ray won't have to run for his life as much as Collaros had to vs the Riders last week.
Argos Season Ticket Holder 2016-2021.
We've made a lot of changes on the DL and secondary this week. Hopefully this crew will do a better job.
Agnew replaces Ware at boundary corner, Gabriel starts at safety, and Lewis may dress as a backup.
Thomas is a new starter on the line and Whiteside was added as a backup.
Oh, and then there's Molden as our new SAM LB.
The D should LOOK different, anyway...
The two lines will be our key, D and O.
