    Argos Coaches...

I'm starting to get annoyed with the inconsistencies on the defensive and special teams sides of the ball...

Our D can't make a stop all second half against Calgary...

Our special teams hasn't been great all season (besides Swayze)... we're not winning the field position battles unless Swayze booms a kick and angles it out... we don't have a return game and our coverage has been so so all year...

Is it time to consider a change with Burke and Daley? Or do we stick it out?

If you change them now, were do you find replacements? I would not even consider it.

From a timing perspective... totally get it... guess seeing what happened on Saturday... watching Sinkfield returning a punt for a TD on Sunday.... it all just had me wondering whether you take that risk or ride it out.

I didn't get a chance to see the Hamilton- Sask game yesterday (good thing after my heart broke Saturday night), but from what I heard about Sinkfields TD return, it sounded like Milo gave a line drive that was hard for the cover team to defend.

Low line drive that was short. Sask missed some tackles too.

Special teams coverage has generally been good except for a couple of games in August. The return game has been a problem for sure but I think that has been a personnel issue as much as anything. Defence has been up and down. I felt that it has generally been improving week to week but certainly suffered a setback this past Saturday.
Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force

Heard an interesting comment by Mike Hogan on AAA from Monday night. Argo special teams punt cover unit are now best in the league. Very impressive when you consider Daily has been working mainly with rookies on the ST unit. Must improve the return game though.

I was gonna pose the question of whether Toronto should try to go after Chris Williams, but he's just signed on to the Chicago practice roster...

Even if Williams had returned to the CFL this season, I believe that he would have still been Hamilton's property until the end of the season.

I don't have much to complain about on the Argos special teams. For the most part I think they've been pretty decent. The only area they need big improvment on is in the return game. You don't have to take every kick to the house but at this point I'd just like to not have to close my eyes when the Argos are returning. There have been far too many fumbles on kick returns this season. It seems like every game, that needs to be corrected.
