Wow, Lewis too? Calgary is really hurting. It'll be quite annoying if our D can't contain their offensive "B" team.

I think we can overcome our injuries without much of a drop-off. Not sure they can.

IIRC, that 52-3 game was just after the Argos had gone into Baltimore and won impressively there. I think that everyone expected them to give Calgary a better battle that night.

    Depth Chart

Jason Barnes is out and Darvin Adams will start in his place. Anthony Coombs will start at the other slotback spot in the place of Andre Durie. Hopefully, one of those two steps up tomorrow night. Looks like Emry is good to go.

Not only is Marcus Thomas not starting this week, we six-gamed him. Anyone know what happened to him?

Seeing how Combs does there is pretty exciting. Coombs is only 21 and Durie eventually made it in that slotback position when he was 28-29.

I don't know, but he played no more than four snaps, and possibly just two, last Saturday. Maybe evidence that players actually do need to attend training camp . . .

A "conditioning issue" is my guess as well.

I haven't been able to find any. I'm going to call a ticket rep today but I'm thinking the best "deal" will be to save the Ticketmaster fees. There is an offer to bring a youth (14 and under) for free with the purchase of a regular admission ticket, don't know if that helps?

Two INTs on the depth chart need to sit. There are eight NAT starters listed (3 o-line, Coombs, Watt, Laing, Emry and Gabriel) so we have some roster flex. Wonder if Jones will be on the game roster this week in case Emry can't play the whole game. However, with Coombs starting at slot (backed up by Adjei), we probably need a second INT RB (Johnson) to back up Steele. If so, two defensive INTs (probably Jones and a lineman) will have to sit.

Just as an FYI, it's not any cheaper to call the Argos directly to purchase tickets than it is to purchase them online through Ticketmaster. I asked about deals and at least for now, the only available 'deals' are to either purchase 4 or more tickets to a game, bring a youth for free or purchase a flex pack. I assume that you pay the same price if you buy right at the box office (at Rogers Centre) as well.

Ticketmaster has their own fees. Going through the Argos avoids those fees.

I did go through Argos (416-341-ARGO) and paid the same as Ticketmaster! I paid $149.30 for 2 silver tickets going through Argos which is exactly what I would have paid if I purchased them on Ticketmaster.
