A sideline reporter should bring this up but Scianitti was probably on the Argo sideline when it happened. I believe it was talked about in the aftermath of the game on riderfans.com, however I think it may have started based on the observations of a Rider fan who was there on Saturday.

Scott Milanovich has media availability at 1:10 so theoretically we'll hear something about this deal from our end a few hours later.

I love on riderfans.com how it was suggested by a couple of posters that their poor performance was due to partying too much the night before which has now become a rumour and likely will soon become a "fact" with Anderson being the fall guy.

That's correct. In the good old days (1980s) there was sometimes a reporter on each sideline, but given how little the sideline reps are used there is no justification for such an expense nowadays.

I was joking during the game that the Riders must have hit the big city a wee bit to hard on Friday night after getting out of tiny Regina. I also commented on how Anderson is a total dick. I stand by that. The guy's like Beiber, he has to be the centre of attention and acts like a total knob. Didn't mind him early on with Calgary but every year since he acts like dumber and dumber. Won't be long before he's busted downtown.

So after Jim Barker bringing in all these "talented DB's" in the off season, now we have to bring in a discard to shore up the defense. Anderson wore out his welcome in Calgary, Montreal and Saskatchewan including after hours troubles and he's not getting any younger. Hope this isn't a high draft pick. Import DB's are a dime a dozen IMO. Hope he can still walk the walk, we know he can talk the talk.

I find this to be a very interesting comment. I know that some on here wanted to see the Argos bring in Korey Banks after his release and Barker doesn't often make a move to bring in a veteran from another team. I won't be too hard on Barker given the number of new recruits he needed this off-season.

Well I'm surprised to see Barker go after a CFL vet. He could have just brought in another rookie formerly of an NFL team. Anderson is a CFL winner so here's hoping he'll help out the new guys.

Sure, if he contributes and behaves fair trade, take the pick.
If he doesn't behave he gets cut. So be it.

This should work out short term. It's like the rebound relationship. He will come here on his best behavior and can do no wrong, for now. It will be great to see some revenge tried on the Riders.

I wonder how much Tim Burke had to do with this signing. Anderson played for Burke in Montreal, and maybe the Argos figure for that reason it's worth the gamble.
