So I know the Argos are struggling to a degree.... But the ALS are going through worse problems if you ask me.

As people have noted, Higgins won't likely be fired this season as the Als are still paying their most-recently fired HC (I just remembered the blip's name: Hawkins; and just WTF(*) were the Als doing waiting months too long to hire their HC, and then doing so via decree by owner? Madness.)
Newbie OC Ryan may be demoted to his former role - it's doubtful that this junior will be fired outright.
Smith's lows have been epic; success is difficult and doubtful at the epicentre of the cluster-fuddle-duddle. He'll no doubt be on a short leash, nevertheless good luck to him and the Als... I like to see personable players succeed and doormat franchises are not good for the league.
