The jersey is way too urban street wear/ dance club/ bam..bam..bam take some ex and listen to crap music for me. This punk says NO to the jersey.

Take the A off the front and put it on the shoulders and it's fine.

Originally I agreed with that, but when you are looking at various teams shirts, many have a large emblem on the front to let others know what team shirt the person is wearing. I think the large A lets people know ... this is The Argos ..... (maybe capitals would be better THE ARGOS!)
I know I often mix up my sons Charger and plain Argos blue jersey. .... both just have numbers. I can live with the A

I posted this in the game thread: The new uni is going to look very good, IMO, except for the vertical stripe on the socks. But if you are listening, Argos, the numbered jerseys for sale in the store need to be fixed -- the nameplates are way too big, extending over the dark blue sleeve striping and ruining the effect. Much as I don't need another jersey, I might actually buy one of these, but not with an oversized nameplate.

In my opinion, it looks like the name patch was slapped onto the jersey, not professional looking at all. I didn't mind the jerseys until I saw the back of them with the nameplate.

Anybody know if the jerseys are available in youth sizing?

Didn't take a close look at the jerseys last night at the stadium, noticed the sloppy nameplate on Argoshop, assumed it was a quick mockup, I actually like the Jersey and always customize mine but won't bother with this one if that's the way it looks, especially at the bloated price.
These are the type of details that this team should be paying close attention to, these jerseys obviously represent the organization and should look as such!!

    I just saw this:

Wow, that is brutal. For the price of the jersey how is that detail overlooked? Even if I liked the jersey I wouldn't purchase it looking like that. Though, I have to say the final product does look a lot better than the teaser pictures.

That's why I hope the plate is optional... I will know for sure on sunday when I am at the dome. The player jerseys have it cut to size, the fan ones should too or not have it at all IMO.

Only the Argonauts would put a finished product like that online then scratch their heads as to why people aren't buying, simple for $229 you expect more than the home made nameplate on the back.

exactly, they should be making them cut to size, it would justify the extra cost on top of what it would normally cost for names and numbers.

It's not just the Argos. I'm guessing Reebok supplies the nameplates since the Riders jerseys are doing the same, covering up the shoulder stripe.
